What's the most popular boys' and girls' name in your kid's class/school currently?

Seems like 90% of kids in primary schools in my area are called Olivia and Harry.

Arlo for boys and Iris for girls

Just call your kid Brian or Trevor. Not likely to encounter one of those in a primary school nowadays

My nephew is a Bryan, he’s 19 now but when he was in secondary school, there was a Brian in his year 😊

Otillie always brings to mind an ear infection for me - too close to Otitis!
We’ve got a few Sarahs, and an Aria who is a horrible bully of a girl which has sadly put me off quite a pretty name.
Rachel is lovely!
One you never hear any more but I love is Lucy.

I also really like Lucy and was considering it as name. Haven't come across a child called Lucy for years.

There's a Lucy in the Reception class my daughter is going into.

Imagine naming your child Sorelle and then there being more than one of them!

Probably subject to a MN thread about friend or relative “stealing” a baby name.

I have a question for those with repeat Oscars! Do they go by a nickname? This is currently the only name me and my partner both like for a boy (which is what we have coming), and we both like the nickname Oz, but I am worried about the popularity of Oscar at the moment. However if the other Oscars aren't going by Oz then that wouldn't be such an issue..

Our Oscar doesn’t, I think you will be fine 😊

I have called my grandson oskie pants now shortened to pants but only I’m allowed to call him that ( pants) and I only call him that when it’s just us. I don’t want him embarrassed by his nanny lol he will tell me when I’m not allowed to call him that anymore as he is naturally blunt ( bit like nanny really )
