Anxious about trump presidency

Is anyone else lying awake at night worrying about this?

I don't live in the states but I am really anxious about this. I'm anxious for everyone living over there yes very much so, but I'm anxious about the much greater possibility of world war, I'm anxious about all the cuts to funding for various international issues in particular climate change initiatives. We're already fucked on that front but if there's any hope for our children we need the power of the states. The Project 2025 list of targets is like something from a dystopian novel, it's really frightening.

I'm also very nervous that the way the new government will structure the legal system they will essentially create a dictatorship that will never be able to be dismantled - they have basically said they will try to do this and tried last time (but failed).

Can anyone talk me down. I can't see anything positive here.

So in other words you cannot refute any of the facts I have stated about his criminality, lack of intelligence/literacy, business failures, dictator-worship, lying and other shortcomings.

America might become a dictatorship like N Korea. But that's what they voted for, I'm not going to lose sleep over it because there's no point. I've watched people in the UK vote against their own interests for 14 years. What can you really do?

I have been following trump since 2015 when cambridge analytica was working with the trump campaign and fb to illegally havest data from voters and bombarded them with polical ads influencing them to vote trump! He is built a cult. These people are not able to state reality! And they will be angry even suggesting it and it looks like from Americans who r demacrates they also will Bury their head in sand. Steven hassana cult expert wrote a book on this 'the cult of trump' in 2017 and has push back ever since! He is also in bed with putin (active measures is a documentary that literally shows u how and why) I'm incredibly concerned for my daughter future, 😳 russia , North Korea and China seemed to joined a fascist dictator alliance and it looks like America will be joining them! I also don't belive everyone on here 'suporting' trump is not a bot. Cyber warfare has been going on since cambridge analytica was with vote leave and bot farms and ai bots are sowing discourse.

u don't get military ex memebers of trumps staff call u a fascist if u didn't seem one! People have just been bombarded with so much that trump has done over last 10 years that people have become completely normalised about it and any real genuine concern people just gaslight u , its exhausting! I have privilege of being in uk and not having day to day! Project 2025 is genuinely terrifying in its self! And right wing people have outright said they plan to do it! Like most populist sociopaths, I think his convictions about stuff change with the wind and according to what's best for him on any given day. This is a new phenomenon in politics which is not going away any time soon, unfortunately.

I really hated Margaret Thatcher's beliefs and opinions but she did believe that she was doing the right thing and saw herself as serving the country not herself.
