As the title says what is your favourite salad/side to eat along side the sausages and steak!

(looking for new ideas as the extra are my favourite bit!!!)

Homemade coleslaw

Tabbouleh.

Panzanella salad!

Mango and avocado salad 😋

Fatoush - with the fried flatbreads (but if I brought that I’d not want any sausages 😁)

Mini, sea salted, skin on, roasted whole potatoes.

it’s a deliciously ella recipe torn out a magazine a few years ago but a firm favourite for bbqs

Spanish tortilla.

I'd make a tzatziki dip. Yogurt with garlic, Cucumber and mint. Also maybe babaghanoush. Using roasted aubergines, garlic and tahini.
I might bring some veg kebabs too for the grill. with peppers, courgettes, onions, mushrooms etc. I love a good BBQ.
Potato salad as well obviously but I'm sure you've thought of that!

Chickpea and chorizo salad and a feta and sweetcorn salad.
And some nice beers!

Water melon feta and mint salad. I often find there is not a lot of fresh stuff at bbq and this really helps.

I could eat a whole bowl of this + never miss burgers sausages or whatever’s on the bbq

Ditto to homemade coleslaw - white cabbage, onion, carrot, celery, apple - and not swimming in mayonnaise, just enough to bind it.
It invariably disappears.

Potato wedges, with loads of grated cheese and salsa mixed in, covered in sour cream.

Pesto pasta with Parmesan

Cauliflower cheese (in a large foil tray as it can be warmed though on the barbecue)

Goes well with steak, chicken and sausages.

Almost every 'side' dish people offer at barbecues is cold. It's nice to have a hot side dish.

Boring but the best would be a Greek salad. Feta, olives, etc.

If everybody brought what's suggested here so far, it'd be the most delicious range of BBQ additions ever!
