As the title says what is your favourite salad/side to eat along side the sausages and steak!

(looking for new ideas as the extra are my favourite bit!!!)

This thread is making me so hungry! 🤤
Am I the only sad person who wants an AI to make a picture of all our dishes together at this bountiful BBQ?!
Maybe another thread for what people would bring for the grill...?

Another one for home made coleslaw, but made with sour cream and chive dip not mayonnaise. Sometimes I make coronation coleslaw. Occasionally I go overboard and I add celery and/or apple to the basic cabbage, carrot and onion mix.
Also a simple cous cous salad, with finely chopped red pepper, onion, peas, corn, sultanas and a vinaigrette dressing. I sometimes add small pieces of smoked pork sausage as well.
A very simple tomato and onion salad. Layered up in a bowl, with a little salt and a light sprinkling of garlic powder between each layer, and finally drizzled with olive oil. Best made early so it has time to marinade.
Potato salad - baby potatoes cooked in their skins, quartered and mixed with either a sour cream and chive dip, with finely chopped spring onion tops for colour and flavour, or simply mixed with an onion and garlic dip.
And finally - I really like just having some naked raw veg or salad. Lettuce, tomatoes, maybe celery or cucumber sticks, red pepper, carrot sticks. Not everything needs to be fancified. Food is nice just tasting of what it is!

Could you post a recipe for your potato salad? Or is it a secret?
