I’ll start with Ryan Reynolds. He honestly seems completely down to earth, responsive to his fans and likes to have a good joke at his own expense

Both no longer with us, but George Michael and Paul O'Grady.

Current celebrities? Maybe Harry Styles, no-one has ever commented on him being a twat.

Soubriquet · 04/04/2024 12:07

Paul O Grady, Yes!

Michael Sheen seems to have a keen interest in supporting others.

Icecoldtulip · 04/04/2024 12:10

Keanu Reeves is always said by other celebs to be lovely. Ryan Reynolds appears to be lovely too.

I don't know any celebrities personally, so I can't judge - I don't think you can rely on their public persona as a measure of character.

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 04/04/2024 12:13

Paul Weller and Paul McCartney. I know people who worked with each of them. Lovely blokes.

Whylurkwhenicanjoinin · 04/04/2024 12:13

I know someone who was involved in a show a few years ago where celebrities helped out with homeless people at various locations and she said Anneka Rice continued to go above and beyond, way after filming was completed.

Which is why I said think and not know.

Dolly Parton seems to have a keen interest in the public too. I’ve seen she’s donated millions to help children read

I read something yesterday about Ryan Reynolds image curation and how carefully managed it is.

a lot of these celebs do a deal with the media - give them certain access on the understanding the press won’t mention the negative stories

MonsteraMama · 04/04/2024 12:28

Despite his films being generally crude and unfunny, Adam Sandler is supposed to be a genuinely really good guy. I've only ever heard nice things from people who've met him and worked with him.

Yes! Love all the posthumous stories that came out of George Michael donating money anonymously to deserving causes he’d seen on the telly.

Ben Shepherd I seem to have developed a crush on him
