I’ll start with Ryan Reynolds. He honestly seems completely down to earth, responsive to his fans and likes to have a good joke at his own expense

I don’t get how Johnny Depp can be thought of as a good man. I have no idea what happened between him and Amber, who lied or why. But those messages that he admitted to sending, horrible misogynistic messages that no man I’d want to be associated with would send, were a fact in that case. Even if you take the approach that he was a victim and pushed to an extreme place, writing about raping a dead woman to check she was dead? And I so wanted to believe in his goodness as was a big fan of him before.

I totally agree with you. It was enough to lose a lifelong fan in me when I read those messages. Depp is a deeply disturbing misogynist. I don't understand how others can get past the texts. Somehow he got away with it in the US media coverage as 'British dark humour', sorry but those of us who've grown up with it know what that is and it isn't his texts.

Marin Kempnwas extremely kind to me as a waitress when I was 17 , never forget how he went over and above to pay for a taxi for me.

Thanks @DavesSpareDeckChair . This is what I meant. Fat fingers, autocorrect and not proofreading fail. ALIVE and Well was the intended wording. There is a lot of info on said org online if you wanted to dig deeper. I'm not having a pop at DG / FF, at the time there was a lot of misinformation being spread etc, but even the "good' guys maybe have done things people consider bad at some point and putting people on a pedestal rarely ends well. @peppermintsforall

Edited

Off to have a google now. I vaguely remembered the story but didn't know the name of the org!

I've heard that ABBA are lovely.

Kate Bush too.

Kind of dread to post this - as no doubt someone will be along to tell me that he's hideous, but my ex-colleague worked for Sam Neill briefly and had nothing but good things to say.

Oh yes he seems the best!!

Add: Kyle McLoughlin

I, too, have worked with Sam Neill, and he was absolutely lovely!

Oh that's nice! I'm generally very cynical about famous people, so glad there are some decent ones

PeggyPoggleshaw · 15/04/2024 12:50

Laurence Fox.

😂😂😂

Janniss543 · 15/04/2024 14:03

Colleen Rooney is one of the absolutely loveliest people I have ever met

Theraininspainfalls · 15/04/2024 14:07

Matthew Goode is an absolute arse according to someone I know who worked with him. Rude, arrogant and demanding.

That's a shame, always thought he was quite fanciable. 😕

Larso Granger 🥰

She parks like an absolute idiot though - so is not well liked for this in many places 😂

Totallybannanas · 17/04/2024 23:46

Jon bon Jovi. I've never heard a bad thing said about him and he always comes well on TV.

TheSquareMile · 17/04/2024 23:57

Michael Crawford, who played Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, the 1970s TV comedy.

I met him at the V and A when he was being interviewed. He came across really well during the interview but especially so when he mingled with everyone afterwards.

I had the opportunity to talk to him and he came across as very warm and genuine.

I met several people who know him well when I went to see him on the London stage at a later date and got the impression that he's well-liked and considered to be a really decent guy.

Les Dennis always had quite a good impression of him...

Also Kyle McLachlan and Jeff Goldblum. They both seem to be lovely (and still hot 😉).

I listen to the What A Creep podcast which finishes with a Not A Creep segment as a palate cleanser.

Jon Bon Jovi and his wife were featured on one episode. They both sound great.

Iwasafool · 19/04/2024 10:04

I've never met him and know nothing about him in "real life" but I always feel Denzel Washington is a nice person. I've watched many of his films and it is just the vibe I get but I hope I don't find out something horrible now.
