How old were you when you lost your virginity?

And if you have children old enough, how old were they?

I keep hearing about how kids are losing their virginity younger and younger now so I was curious to know how old you were, compared to your children.

I was 17. Dh was 13.

DD is 10 and still at the age where anything sexual grosses her out (thank god). They are currently doing sex education at school at the moment and she comes home horrified every time

13 is disturbingly young. 18 for me

19 and first year at uni, not to another student, to along term bf (5 years). DD is 18 this year and has no interest in boys (or girls!)

17. My son is 13 this year and I hope he'll be at least 16. We're a very open family and he can & does ask me or his dad (often both at the same time!) anything he wants. We've had discussions many times about consent & respect and importantly he understands it.

I was 18, my brother was 14 which I thought was very young at the time!

I was shocked when dh told me he was 13. He’s never regretted it as such, but he does hope our kids (dd is 10, ds is 8) will be a lot older

19 and DH was 20.Still happily together after 25 years.

I was 20. It felt like I was the oldest virgin in the world and I didn’t even tell the guy that I was a virgin because I was too embarrassed. He became a long term BF and I had to admit it to him about 6 months into the relationship. Also he was a year younger than me! 🙈

I was 15, boyfriend nearly 17, we’d been going out together for 9 months and I worked out that if I did get pregnant despite a condom, nobody would need to know until after my O Levels, by which time I’d be 16. Easter 1971.

My AC are all in their 30s. Both daughters lost theirs at 16 to steady boyfriends, DS and his gf were both 15.

19, almost 20. I was terrified of sex as a teenager so I had no trouble abstaining for a while.
