What's your little extravagance?

Maybe a guilty pleasure or something you don't strictly need to pay for but you really appreciate the impact of it.

Recently, paying to skip the security queue at a certain nightmare airport is fucking heaven. It seems ridiculous to me to spend £5 on it but i've had stressful queuing experiences where I thought we might miss our flight. Swanning past the queue is bliss but a bit naughty because it costs me nothing to wait in line.

A fizzy flavoured water daily after 4 years of giving up Diet Coke. A cleaner. A deep bath (the cost of running it is now ridiculous, but I love it.)

hopeishere · 27/10/2023 19:02

Recently I paid for front row seats on a flight. It was great. Lots of room and first off!

Inextremis · 27/10/2023 19:04

Extra long basmati rice
Scented candles
Molton Brown shower gel

Georgyporky · 27/10/2023 19:06

A monthly pedicure. I've been known to wear sandals when it's quite cold, just to show off !

Sceptre86 · 27/10/2023 19:12

A facial and massage, once a month, every month.

Princessfluffy · 27/10/2023 19:17

Cats
White magnums

MrsCharlieD · 27/10/2023 19:18

Diptyque candles. I always have 1 in the house, when it's running low I buy another. It's a little luxury I now won't compromise on.

Second thing is Botox. I do it twice a year and absolutely love it. Started a few years ago and I won't stop.

Trickytimer · 27/10/2023 19:20

booking a physio deep tissue massage as and when I feel the need, which lately is a few times a month, worth every penny to me.

Decent socks. They're 50% merino wool or something, lovely and warm and soft, and three times the price of buying bog standard ones in the supermarket. The cheap ones make my feet feel like they're being strangled so it's worth it to me.

Which do you recommend pls? Socks are very important to me at this time of year!

ActDottie · 27/10/2023 19:26

Elemis marine cream.£94 a pot but I love it

A cleaner, she’s essential now we both work full time and have a child. French butter with salt crystals. Monmouth coffee beans. Burford Brown eggs. Aesop hand wash (lasts ages). Business/First Class flights, we use points from our credit card but it really reduces the stress of travelling. Have just started to get manicures and gel polish, makes me feel more polished and I don’t worry about chips! Merino wool nightwear, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

lolomoon · 27/10/2023 19:33

Mine is dining out.
I'm so tight when it comes to spending money on myself, for clothes, shoes, basically anything.
But when it comes to dining out I'd barely think twice about the bill totting up. Way to my heart is definitely through my stomach!

Singing lessons. I've had them for 4 years now and it's the single best thing I have ever done for me. I love that I can sing.

I love it that you can sing! ❤️

@NutellaEllaElla you have no idea what you have just done. prepare for them to go out of stock as I buy them up/break into their factory.....

Mumaway · 27/10/2023 19:45

This cost me about £40 and was such good value. I do not clean my oven regularly because I don't want to because it's a pain the the arse, so this was amazing

BogRollBOGOF · 27/10/2023 19:47

A monthly sports massage. Similar to most of my peers hair and nails budget, and I move better for it.

Well I'm glad to share the love with a kindred spirit, if only I could share the calories too.. 😁
