Just wondering when it’s going to be his turn? He must absolutely fucking bricking it right now. His books are shit as well.

Yep. I first heard rumours about him 20 years ago. And fully agree his books are fucking terrible, pisses me off that they have been so heavily marketed when there are proper children's authors out there.

What about him? I heard he says inappropriate things. But I just don't watch him or buy any of his ridiculous books.

There is a big news story breaking on BBC about him. Scant details besides suing BGT for data protection.

I’ve been concerned by his behaviour and some disturbing stuff in his books (evil nurse in a children’s hospital Wtf!). I banned his books a while ago.

It’s pretty easy to find what he said online. Just nasty comments about some of the BGT contestants. The Guardian reported it at the time (2020).

I don’t know the specific rumours about him, just see his name come up a lot on Twitter etc in these types of conversations

One of his books was recommended in my school’s (bought in) curriculum for LKS2. I absolutely refused point blank to have them in the school, and the head agreed when I pointed out, everything else aside, the suggested book contains the truth about the tooth fairy. Miserable prick.

He is a creep, an absolute sleaze who makes me feel a bit sick. Even in the early days of Little Britain I thought he was repellant. If there's an expose about him I wouldn't be in the least bit shocked.
Oh and his shit books are banned in this house....

I said to DH the other day when the Russell Brand stuff came out that Alton Towers are going to be right in the shit if DW is a bad un. They have an entire David Walliams land built into the park. Bad optics.

I hated Little Britain at the time, I was shocked back then how discriminatory and disgusting it was. Now everyone can see it with hindsight. Same goes for Bo Selecta etc. I’m glad people are finally seeing the light and the ugly truth about parts of the entertainment industry is being revealed.

I’ve never seen the appeal of him. He’s cringy and attention seeking in the worst possible way. He’s the sort of celebrity that if I saw him walking towards me I would run in the opposite direction.

He’s always struck me as someone who would be awful if you met him in the street.

the fact that he called one woman a C*t three times and said that “no one would want to f*k” another lady says all we need to know about how he sees women.

I don’t like his books. I think he’s a Roald Dahl plagiarist personally. They all seem really cruel.

I genuinely thought that the dispatches programme was going to be about him.
