How many people does a frozen garlic baguette feed

A friend who is a competitive underfeeder claims 1 baguette feeds 2 adults and 4 teenagers. I say she’s fucking ridiculous.

I’ve eaten half of one whilst typing this so assume there’s a middle ground

It would be a stretch for two adults and two small kids here. Probably three portions.

If the person is me, one baguette to one person.

Half each - 2 adults really. There’s 4 of us including Ds aged 11 and dd aged 19 so I’d get 2 and we’d have half each.

I’d say it feeds 4. DH and I usually share half a baguette. And rarely.

I could eat a whole one.
If being polite I could share it with another adult.

Her poor kids must be permanently starving!

i usually allow for around 1/2 baguette per person, on the basis that if I do one for me and my two kids they ask for more once it’s gone, but when I cook two there’s a little left!

Depends how much other food is being served but I would serve it as a side dish for no more than 4 people

We use part baked ones and allow half a person.. Ds 8 can eat half a baguette no problem.. Your mate's dc will have food issues on such rations imo.

We have one between 2 adults and 2 young children. Could all probably have another slice ideally. If adults have 2 and kids have 1 your friend is probably right.

There’s usually nine slices aren’t there? It goes between 3-4 in this house, depending on what else is on the plate.

In this household of 2A and 2 teenagers we would eat at least 2 baguettes. They'd be horrified at sharing 1, plus everyone always wants the end bit so no fights over that.

Shared one between me DP and DS 3. It was supposed to be just two of use but DS demanded some lol 😂. Wish I had made more!

DH and DS could happily eat one between them along side a (very) large portion of lasagna and salad (especially after doing sports).

Surely it depends on what else is served with it? A big pasta bowl, salad and garlic bread I would say 2 adults and either 1 or 2 kids so would serve 1 baguette, but smaller pasta and no salad then I would do 2 baguettes for that many people.
