Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else. I wondered if we could set up a list thread for potential ticket swaps!

I have just bought 4 tickets for Edinburgh on the 7th June 2024, obviously I wouldn’t have bought them if I wasn’t happy to travel but I am in the South and any other UK stadium would be more convenient. Posting on the off chance that someone has done similar, but for another venue and Edinburgh would be preferable for them. I know it is early days for ticket sales, but putting it out there for anyone interested.

I would need to check how to do the swap above board so that both parties are covered. Potentially, we “sell” to each other via an official resale site?

Good idea op! In a perfect world I would like Cardiff but London goes on sale first. If I’m lucky enough to get a code for both I’m going to try London because I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket but I’d be very open for swapping for Cardiff.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for any tickets in all honesty🤞

It's my understanding once you use your code you can't use it again. We also want Cardiff as it's 40 minutes away

The code can only be used once! Not sure how a PP is buying multiple dates at this stage.

Interesting, was that a reliable source? People legitimately resell concert tickets all the time e.g. they can't reschedule work/family commitments or fall ill at the last minute. Surely there is a way to resell via an appropriate site? I'm not in the business of trying to scam anyone, just hoping for a lucky swap that is beneficial for both sides

Yes, I think that this is true. Although, it was a maximum of four tickets and I don't know if they could potentially be split across two dates.

We got tickets for Edinburgh too, but that's what we were trying for as we are just outside of Edinburgh

I think with the restrictive way sales are being carried out that any swaps/re-sells would have to be done through an official route.

Ticketmaster usually has the option to transfer tickets - not sure about AXS (this is who we got them through)

God that was stressful! DH went mad and bought Wembley tickets for me and dd at an utterly bonkers price - incredible seats but hoping I might be able to buy a couple at general sale and sell these on. Surely there is a way to do that in axs??

Will cross my fingers for you! I had both London and Edinburgh open in separate tabs. Took me 15 mins longer to even get into the waiting room for London.

I calculated my chances when I got my queue number and technically I could have got tickets for London, but I was further up the Edinburgh queue. After buying my tickets I stayed in the queue for London just to see what would happen (I had already used my code so wouldn't have been able to buy!) I finally got through on the London queue and Ticketmaster glitched and kicked me out.

Definitely hedge your bets and try for multiple places!

You can't split the dates. Once your code is used that's it. So if you only buy two tix for a date, that's it. At this point.

We got booted out the AXS site as was about to pay... then all tickets gone by the time id clamboured back up to the top of da line, so have to try AGAIN tomorrow. Really beginning to hate Tay Tay. By far, the most stressful tix buying experience I've undertaken and I buy a lorra tickets! DD loves her though. And for her, I will keep going... it feels like wading into battle!

That's so interesting to hear because I found it to be a really painless experience (in comparison to normal ticket sales) after I was finally allowed into the waiting room. I was allocated Ticketmaster though.

My DD was able to use her presale code to buy 2 tickets on two different dates (so 4 tickets in total). I'm not sure if the general sale will be the same though

What I don't know is what restrictions there will be on using the tickets - will I need to be there? Will I need ID? Could I even move the tickets onto someone else's device?

Ticketmaster normally allow you to transfer tickets to a friend. See here for their FAQ

@SirSamVimesCityWatch you can tfr on axs as I did it for my daughter recently. There also Lola to be an option to sell but not sure how that works.

YES I am also in the market to swap. I have 4 (seated) tickets to Edinburgh June 9th bought with a code on first day of pre-sale in terror of not being able to get any for Taylor-mad daughter. But a Sunday during GCSEs (!) is not ideal and we’d far prefer London….if anyone willing to swap.
