Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else. I wondered if we could set up a list thread for potential ticket swaps!

I have just bought 4 tickets for Edinburgh on the 7th June 2024, obviously I wouldn’t have bought them if I wasn’t happy to travel but I am in the South and any other UK stadium would be more convenient. Posting on the off chance that someone has done similar, but for another venue and Edinburgh would be preferable for them. I know it is early days for ticket sales, but putting it out there for anyone interested.

I would need to check how to do the swap above board so that both parties are covered. Potentially, we “sell” to each other via an official resale site?

Mine will be going on ticketmaster resale at face value whenever it’s available. It really love to think that most actual fans that have ended up with spare would do the same

Fair play to you but the chances of most people actually putting their tickets up for resale at face value is low. I bet most people will justify a wee profit for themselves.

It says you can't transfer your tickets and whoever buys them is the lead booker and needs to attend the concert.

@HumphreysCorner I did see that too but have a friend who has bought them as a gift for her daughter and won’t be attending herself, she checked with Ticketmaster and has been told she will be able to transfer them to her daughters name.

They really need to make T&Cs very clear and all give the same message

Also read this as my daughter bought our tickets and used our address as she still lives at home. I wanted to use my code for a friend but my address would be used again and don't want to lose the first lot of tickets.

Hm, I'd be sceptical. This has Ed Sheeran vibes written all over it. Best for the lead booker to be there

@HumphreysCorner if you booked with AXS then they will be available to transfer, I have direct messaged them, as my son ended up getting them for me, as the site kept crashing.

@Karrpt Yeah Ed Sheeran was a nightmare for so many people. They should make all the terms very clear and the ticketmaster and AXS customer service teams should have been given full information. I’ve seen the same questions asked multiple times on Twitter and different answers being given by the official customer service teams. It’ll be chaos at the gates!!
It would be a real shame if they didn’t allow any official resale. I ended up with a spare pair of tickets completely by accident and definitely can’t make it to both nights so would much prefer to give someone else the chance to go!

I have two 'Ready For It' tix for Wembley on Friday 21 June - these were the only tix left available but my daughter is 9 and only 14+ are allowed in the standing area. Happy to swap for seated tickets in any other UK stadium!!

Hi - I have 1 Taylor Swift ticket for Liverpool Sat 15 June in the Pitch standing and would like to swap for a ticket in U9 (Pitch is more expensive than the U9 so its a bargain!). If anyone is interested let me know. I'm taking my two teenagers and just realised we all need to be in the same block as they are under 18.

@NiJ1234 & @LeeannK How do you think you are going to swap tickets without risking getting scammed?

Surely you are not going to trust someone you don't know from Adam to forward the ticket to you when they could just keep it and sell for many times its value.

Any scammer with half a brain cell will be searching for threads like this!

Hello, i have 4 x tickets for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in Vienna, Austria on Saturday 10th August 2024. Unfortunately we’ve realised a cousins wedding is the same weekend! So I would love to swap them for any other tickets elsewhere in Europe on a different weekend/day! Thanks!

Hi there, I have 4 general standing tickets for wembley 21 June. I would love to swap them with good seated tickets ideally in London but anywhere else for June (not august!) Happy to pay a bit more if there's a price difference. Many thanks!

@hopeflan @TheVeryHungryTortoise - Lots to think about but I have a couple of tickets for Wembley 23rd June seated (side view) £150 total and live in Edinburgh(!). I’d be happy to swap if this becomes possible. I’m throughAXS so don’t think they have as many restrictions but I’m sure it’ll become clearer…..sorry only 2 tickets so probably doesn’t work for you.

Resale apparently opens on the 1st August, they have been changing their minds left right and centre on everything so this may change or get pushed back but for now thats the date they're working towards

Looks like my AXS tickets are now available in the app so maybe that means they are available for resale on 1st as hoped.

We have got 4 tickets for Taylor Swift in Anfield on the 14th of June and have since found out that there are very likely to be GCSE's on that day, so probably can't do this date. We would like to secure tickets for the Saturday 15th ideally or Wembley in August . We have ordered £306 VIP standing tickets. If anyone is interested in a swap, please do let me know. We would ideally like similar tickets in terms of price and quality. Thanks.
