Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else. I wondered if we could set up a list thread for potential ticket swaps!

I have just bought 4 tickets for Edinburgh on the 7th June 2024, obviously I wouldn’t have bought them if I wasn’t happy to travel but I am in the South and any other UK stadium would be more convenient. Posting on the off chance that someone has done similar, but for another venue and Edinburgh would be preferable for them. I know it is early days for ticket sales, but putting it out there for anyone interested.

I would need to check how to do the swap above board so that both parties are covered. Potentially, we “sell” to each other via an official resale site?

Hey I have 4 tickets for Wembley (standing, front right section) for 17th Aug 2024 and would rather go to the Liverpool gig on 15th June. Tickets were roughly £200 each with insurance etc. I don’t particularly want to spend more than that just because it’s already expensive but thought I’d post in case anyone else wanted to swap (obviously happy to swap with you if you like but I wouldn’t expect that because your tickets are more pricey!) 😊

Why would you want to sell the tickets on here rather than through a legitimate second hand ticket sale site. Why would you take a risk and why would you expect someone to take a risk when they don't know you.

So many people are going to get scammed with Tyler Swift tickets. People are so desperate to get them they are going to take stupid risks and the scammers know that.

@WaitingForNothingGood There's no such thing as a legitimate second hand ticket sales site right now. Until/unless tickets become available to list on AXS or Ticketmaster's own resale sites it's very risky to list on third party sites even at face value as those tickets may get cancelled. In some cases there's a lot of money tied up in tickets that people know now they won't use and would happily give other genuine fans with even a tenuous link (MN in common) the opportunity to swop or buy. DD dedicated a lot of time to securing tickets and we now have date & venue options so have spare tickets which we have no intention of making money out of - just want the safest option for both us and whoever buys them.

@notquitesoyoung If you have spare tickets I bet you could find a friend, colleague or neighbour who would buy them for face value. It make you very popular

We will have a ticket for sale for one night as got better seat on another one.

I will just sell through the app or to a friend. I am sure it will go if face value. Only risk being it's only 1 seat.

I'm not looking to make money out of mine either, just want similar tickets on a different date. Will try for more next week also, then sell my first lot.

We had a spare for Harry Styles that we sold via Ticketmaster. It was sold within an hour. It was a seat next to the three that we used but no one ever came to sit there.

@Bokky thanks. It may even be someone we know wants a ticket. AXS have confirmed they can be transferred via the app and if I know people am happy to take payment outside the app.

Good to hear even the solo ones go though - I guess my DD is happy going solo so sure others would be as well. Or even just sit separately to friends.

Disaster - daughter has a still unused presale code assigned to her but Ticketmaster not recognising she’s got access to presale. Even logged into correct email. Anyone else have this problem??? Last day to use her precious code

I signed up for DD13 for the presale in June but haven't had a code so far. Does it mean we've been unsuccessful? London and Cardiff

@HopeFlan could it just be there's no presale tickets left? On Monday even being in the waiting room by the time we got through there were no tickets left apart from £600 packages. We only got tickets in the 3pm release.

I don't think they've sent out the codes yet, could be anytime until midnight tonight

Hi - I’ve got a code for Wembley 21 June and 15 August from Ticketmaster.

I’m waitlisted for Edinburgh - which is where I’d rather go.

If I’m lucky enough to get tickets I’ll be buying x 4 left or right side standing (approx £200 each incl fees etc - as far as I’m aware).

Would swap or transfer via Ticketmaster for the same in Edinburgh.

Happy enough to go to London if no one can swap me but thought I’d try!

The codes aren't transferable and it would be crazy to try and arrange to 'swap' tickets with strangers on the internet. There are too many scammers. They will be really convincing.

@LotsOfThingsToThinkAbout I completely agree with this! I really hope those wanting tickets manage to get some but please please do not go down the route of dodgy ‘swaps’ etc. Ticketmaster do an official resale through their site where they sell at face value. The tickets are properly transferred through them with the lead name etc being exchanged. They hold the funds etc to make sure everything is above board. Ive had to use it before when I was unable to make another gig and it works really well! Keep checking all dates. Sign up for notifications if it let’s you.
I got an extra 2 for Edinburgh completely by accident (told me payment had failed so I tried for another date then got confirmations for both!). I mentioned it on another thread and already have 9 private messages on here trying to arrange a private sale before the tickets are even available to view!

My problem is I need london tickets but will only able to buy cardiff - is there any way to swap reliably or will I have to attempt to buy london second hand?

Are you all bloody mad? This swapping and private message swapping has scam potential all over it

Fair play to you but the chances of most people actually putting their tickets up for resale at face value is low. I bet most people will justify a wee profit for themselves.
