Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else. I wondered if we could set up a list thread for potential ticket swaps!

I have just bought 4 tickets for Edinburgh on the 7th June 2024, obviously I wouldn’t have bought them if I wasn’t happy to travel but I am in the South and any other UK stadium would be more convenient. Posting on the off chance that someone has done similar, but for another venue and Edinburgh would be preferable for them. I know it is early days for ticket sales, but putting it out there for anyone interested.

I would need to check how to do the swap above board so that both parties are covered. Potentially, we “sell” to each other via an official resale site?

The other advice is to look at the profile of anyone on social media. If they claim to go your friend, you need to check with them in person, in case their profile has been stolen. If they have only just started posting on SM, there is no history you can look at.

The sensible option is to use Twickets, AXS or Ticketmaster to sell your own tickets if you can't go and use the same to get tickets at face value.

You'd actually be safer using Viagogo than a random Facebook swap as at least you can get your money back

Twickets don’t have any tickets and if any become available they will be snapped up in seconds. You can sell your ticket on Ticketmaster but don’t expect to buy one at face value on there. An option is to sell your tickets on StubHub and then buy what you want from them or Ticketmaster etc. you’ll pay a lot for your tickets but you can sell yours for a lot as well. Just be aware that they deduct charges. When you list your ticket they show you how much you will receive if it sells at that price (before submitting). Some dates are more sought after than others so if you’re flexible you could sell and buy without being out of pocket.

Update: I swapped with someone on Facebook. Make sure you FaceTime the person while you’re swapping. Faith in humanity restored ❤️

If anyone here either has a code for Cardiff (or London August) or is genuinely looking to sell 2 seated tickets please let me know - I didn't get a code or tickets last year as my daughter is autistic and wouldn't have coped with it then but she's since become hyperfixated on going and I'd love to be able to take her. You can check my posting history to see I'm genuine, also happy to link up on Facebook or elsewhere.

The "codes" were for the presale access. They are useless now.

Thanks for the advice on swapping tickets but gunna see if we can hopefully make it happen. If anyone is interested in swapping our August 20th Wembley standing tickets for June please let us know as soon as you can! Willing to pay the extra difference in tickets for seating, do a FaceTime, social media profile, etc! :)

How did that work? Is it for the same night? Have you both swapped the tickets now?

But whoever you arranged to swap the tickets with would have to trust you to send them your tickets. Even if they can see your social media accounts you would have to be daft to do that.
The tickets could potentially be sold for thousands.

Did you get your ticket in the end?

Well yes and no! The one I posted about "could not fulfill" and gave me the choice of a standing, paper ticket (which sounded totally dodgy and I didn't want to stand) or cancelling, so I cancelled. I then spent even more money on the same site for another ticket which the seller transferred straight away and I got in with it no problem.

Can I just ask, anyone who has been to a concert can you wear open toed heels? There is a rumour going around that you can't but can't find a definite answer.

Went Saturday, so some tips.

You may have a VIP ticket, but so do about 20000 others, get there early.

No sign of anyone checking ages for standing tickets, I imagine it is just if the child looks young they ask.

Plentiful water supplied free

A lot of the show happens on the walkway out as far as the centre of the pitch, some of it is elevated so even buried in the crush you should see something.

Would you be interested in 2 seated tickets for 16th August instead? Or are you relocating before then? I can't go on the 16th so would really like to swap to 19th!

If anyone ends up looking to sell 2 seated tickets for any of the August dates please please let me know - I missed out on Cardiff (closest to me) and the first lot of August dates and now fear I will be priced out of all the resellers for the remaining August dates.

My daughter is autistic and I didn't originally register for a code as I didn't think she would tolerate going but she has since become obsessed with the idea and worked really hard on tolerating loud spaces and I would love to take her, plus being a huge Swiftie myself. It would mean the world 🙏

ETA: Or if you're allocated a code for London which you're not going to use and would allow me to use your TM account or send you money to buy tickets for me. I would be so grateful.

Be careful asking for tickets on social media. It's almost impossible to protect yourself from being scammed.
Keep trying the more official routes.
