Butter and marmite. Pikelets are even better than crumpets though.

A bit of butter and marmite. But the crumpet should only be very lightly toasted - not at all browned.

Jam is fine. Even better is a cheese triangle and jam. Chocolate spread and banana is good too

I like a fried crumpet with a fried egg, so the runny yolk can soak into the holes.

I'm okay with things on crumpets, but just butter is best.

Jamie Oliver does eggy crumpets (crumpets dipped in whisked egg, and fried in butter) with crispy bacon and chilli on top, that's good!
