Schools closed tomorrow due to weather

Yes DD's school in Cornwall closed tomorrow. Early start to half term for us...

We are closed SW. Lots of trusts seem to be blanket closing all of their schools regardless of if they are in red or amber.

Also SW and myself and my colleagues have one by one had the school closure emails. We have also decided not to travel unnecessarily.

Online schooling here.. (DS thought holiday started early)

All schools in our county are closed however it's online learning these days not a day off! (School holidays next week)

Our school broke up for half term today anyway. Beautiful weather here, flaring sun, bright blue cloudless skies. Hard to imagine there's going to be a storm

They are putting our sea defences up currently, local Facebook group is live-streaming the council staff struggling to remember how they go up (quite amusing)

Maybe @UrsulaBursula is already on half term. I have no idea what day it is in the school holidays.

DS's school / 6th form is closed, normally only happens during snow as the school buses will not drop off as they are then liable for pick up as well. Decision is made on the morning in question, we've never known the day before

Cornwall here and just had a letter emailed from the Head to say my youngests secondary school is closed.
