What's your top 3 recurring nightmares?

So I had all 3 at once last night 🤣.
1 - I'm barefoot in a public toilet
2 - I'm swimming far out in the ocean terrified of fish and sharks
3 - a tiger and/or lion is in my house.
Think I'll go check up what that means......

1 - Plane crash, I always survive it though.
2 - Going into an exam without having revised/prepared
3 - I'm back with my ex-husband.

No. 3 is always worse than the plane crash, disturbs me all day!

Teeth falling out
Out of control car and I am trying to drive from the back seat
I’ve screwed up at work

Missing my stop to get off the train and it's taking me further from where I need to be.

Losing my handbag. I hate this dream because I'm always conscious of the fact that I wandered away from my bag, ie, it was my fault I lost it. And then I can't get back to it as there's a locked door or it's gone.

Teeth falling out Out of control car and I am trying to drive from the back seat I’ve screwed up at work

I have the trying to drive from the backseat one as well!

Also one where the car is parked but it keeps moving slowly and I keep trying the brakes/handbrake but it won’t stop it.

I have the teeth falling out one as well. Also i am looking for a hotel room but cant find it so I'm wandering the corridors getting more and more panicky

Plane crashes (rather scary as I grew up less than a mile from where Concorde was built and tested).

Being in the wrong clothes/no clothes.

No.4 - I'm trying to defend myself against an attacker but can't kick or punch them - it's like my limbs are stuck in mud.

1. All my teeth/hair falling out.
2. Going into an exam and not having done any revision.
3. I'm desperate for a wee but can't find a useable toilet anywhere, every one I find is in an absolutely disgusting state,or there's no door on the cubicle. Inevitably when I have this dream,I wake up busting for a wee.

1. Someone (it always changes who) is trying to kill me. I know they are hunting me down and I'm trying to get away. Invariably I'm missing my shoes or I can't run for some reason.

1. I catch DH cheating on me and he's really, really cruel and nasty to me.

1. Going out etc and enjoying myself then realise I have a major exam very soon and have not even started studying for it.
2. Either car starts to move and I can't reach the brake or get in the car and start moving down a major road then realise I don't know how to drive.
3. DH is leaving me for OW and everyone around expects me to just be cool with it

FWIW I haven't studied for an exam in decades, have been driving reasonably competently for nearly 30 years and have never had any reason to think DH is a cheater.

3. Turning up at school without having planned my lessons and having to make it up on the spot or the kids not doing as I say

1. I'm meant to be somewhere important but I'm really late and car has broken down/all public transport cancelled/terrible weather so I can't get there.
2. I'm back at uni and need to do an exam/essay but haven't attended any lectures and haven't a clue what to write.
3. I've spent most of the day naked and only realise at the end that this is not socially acceptable.

That I didn’t get round to doing a dissertation so don’t actual have my degree.

That I am trying to phone the emergency services and for some reason I can't dial 999?

And that I am trapped in the bed covers and can not get out?
That's my main ones

Ooooh the bed covers one sounds awful.

1. I'm at a train station really panicking because either my train has been cancelled or I don't know what train to get but I'm rushing and it's imperative I get on that train

1. A mum with two young children in the car deliberately drives into a body of water and all three drown

1. Having an almighty row with my DP and I wake up confused and disorientated not knowing what either of us have done wrong.

Needing to wee and only finding filthy toilets

Trying to register my young children for school only to be told I must return to school too. I desperately explain that I hold an advanced degree but the registrar does not care.

I’m watching a plane taking off and then it falls out of the sky and bursts into flames

I’m driving around at night with no headlights on

Ooh some good ones! I've also had the lost children one frequently, and the running from an attacker with legs like lead, and I can't scream! Think I'll lay off the cheese tonight 😁

3. Needing a toilet but everytime i find one its broken or too filthy to use , always wake up bursting!
