Beat my wild NYE plans

I have just rushed to Argos to buy a new doormat. I'm now contemplating a takeaway, followed by putting the DC to bed and reading a book on the sofa while DH watches Squid Game.

What does your NYE look like?

Just going to have a bath, then probably telly and a pizza with DH and the teen dds.

I have covid, but feel well so will probably also have a few drinks. Rock and roll.

On my own. Got a bottle of Prosecco, some party food snacks, cheese & pate. Plan on starting season 18 of Greys.

DP doing bedtime (result!) and I’m “cooking” fish fingers and chips (homemade tartare tbf) then going to bed to read a novel I’ve already read. Can’t wait.

Had an early bath, going to order food and then drink wine. Got a kid with covid and period pain so am staying in but I was anyway because I'm antisocial and people are really annoying me at the moment.

Husband is playing COD. I've put the pie in the oven and am lying on the sofa with the dogs in front of the fire.
I'll throw a few more logs on when I dish up dinner then after that we have no plans at all. Maybe open a bottle of Nosecco as we don't drink.
We're living the high life 🤣

In bath (probably a mn sin) have argued over what take away (Gone with Chinese) and drinks fridge is stocked.
As they conceded on takeaway I will concede on film choice so expect to be watching some dreadful American gangsta/violent/non romantic tripe, but I will pretend to enjoy it.

Was going to make tuna pasta bake but CBA (and ate a massive curry yesterday) so might make DH forage in the freezer. 1 and 1/4 bottles of wine, a can of passion fruit martini and a bottle of beer in the fridge, dry January tomorrow 😬

Just ordering a Chinese and planning on a film.

I had Covid mid December days after getting my booster and flu jab, and then my grandchildren gave me their cold on Christmas day. I'm sick of coughing and then peeing myself; sick of no taste/smell, and sick of feeling so poorly.

Roll on January I say but there won't be much celebrating in this house.........

Exciting, are you hoping for a 2021 or 2022 baby? 31st would probably be more fun for parties but always overshadowed by NYE. 1st would be a lovely new start to every year.

@Cattitudes I'm not bothered either way, but only thing I've bought is socks which say "born in 2022" lol!!
