I love bread sauce. It makes turkey bearable. Turkey is just disappointing chicken.

Bread sauce is disgusting, it's like gloopy wallpaper paste. I'm amazed anyone eats it.

I've never had bread sauce. I don't understand people who don't like gravy, but I do appreciate getting to have theirs.

To boring for me... I feel like it doesn’t really add to the meal so I don’t have it... no one has it now my grandads not alive. So we’ve not had it for 17 years and I’d rather not start again.

I've never tried it/ been offered! We have the full Xmas dinner with trimmings but it's never occurred to me to try and make it. I think based on this thread this year is the year to give it a go!!

I bloody love bread sauce and sprouts and gherkins and pickled onions (with the picky bits in the evening not with the actual meal and gravy and cranberry and turkey etc
Parsnips just not my bag they are decidedly meh!
The sponges in trifles actually set my teeth on edge, what the flaming hell. I have no idea on the flavour as I can't get past the texture. It's like when someone leaves a teabag in your cuppa and it touches your lip unexpectedly, trifle sponge give me the same feeling. I also hate the feeling of the sugar on the outside of doughnuts and as I love in Sussex have been know to drive to Brighton to get unshared fresh doughnuts from the pier! Iced doughnuts are fine!

Except that's exactly what it is. Bread + liquid = soggy bread, whichever way you look at it. If you don't have food texture issues, then you clearly won't get it!
