My husband died suddenly today

And I don’t know what to do. It has not sunk in yet and I only know it happened at work around noon.
I don’t know if there is anyone up to talk to I just feel I need some human contact

Yes pls. He was a man with a big heart. But he had a real shit start in life as he was brought up in car.e
We have been married since 1998 and I can’t imagine life without him

Do you have any wadi to get more details? It might help to know more. If course, it is early days.

He was found slumped in his company vehicle, paramedics called but it was too late. It looks like a heart attack

I found out because I called his phone at 1230 and the paramedic answered it, he told me over the fucking phone

So sorry to read this. What a shock. Concentrate on looking after your son as he will need you now so much. Just take things one step at a time and accept help from friends/family. Thinking of you now

Yes my sister was here all afternoon, illegally as she was contracted by track and trace to self isolate. My mum is 86 so can’t really help much. My friends also came to help.
I have the worst headache
Our son has he asd and I am so worried this is really going to affect him

This is horrible, I can only imagine how you feel. Poor of the paramedics to tell you via phone too. Be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with family/friends, make sure you eat. Sending a huge hug.x

That's really awful to find out by phone. Can you take any pain killers? Maybe drink some tea. Have you drunk enough today?

A big heart, me and ds went out in Sunday and when we got home he had made us a roast beef Sunday lunch, so thoughtful. I made a joke about there being no Yorkshire puddings and gor called ungrateful
He was a doer not a thinker has renovated our home and worked tirelessly to pay off the mortgage at the expense of his health.
