Another one about discontinued chocolate bars

I just ate two time out wafers, which I really like, but I'd love one of the old two fingered Time Outs that had the later of twirl type chocolate in the middle.

I loved a Spira too. And a Galaxy Liaison.

Any other chocolate bars you miss and could eat right now

Back when there were dinosaurs the walnut whip used to have a walnut at the bottom inside as well as on the top. And, they used to a coffee version as well as the vanilla one.

The bar with caramel and nuts, could it have been a Nuts bar? On sale in Intermarche in SW France.

In the 80s you could buy Cadbury’s mint crisp, but only from a machine, at a small railway station in Surrey (might have been other places, but believe me, I’ve searched). The machine only sold this one chocolate bar, and it was the most delicious thing ever. I think I’ve only had it twice but would love to have it again. Apparently it’s still sold in Ireland.

Any mint chocolate. Mingles definitely, and I’m sure there was wispa mint once.

Oooh I just had a mint crisp. Love a golden crisp too. I'm in N. Ireland

A Banjo bar was delicious, I’ve tried so hard to find them but I think they’ve been consigned to history.
Also Mint Cracknel, Weekend chocolates, Bar Six. My kids think I’m mad when I try to explain the types of chocolate I miss from my childhood.

There's two I can't remember, both were Cadbury's:

  1. A purple tube of crispy chocolate thins shaped like a Pringle, they were either Orange, Mint or Milk Chocolate. They had crispy bits in them and because they were so light you (me) could eat a whole box.
  1. Ritz biscuits covered in thick Milk Chocolate in a bar with squares.

Both were from about 10 years ago and now discontinued.

The first are Cadbury snaps, you can get ow brand version in both Aldi and Lidl (lots of flavours too)

I'd forgotten about flake praline. They were really nice.

I just had a flake and I want another. I don't think it was full size Grin

I think there was a limited edition caramel or something Twirl which was like a caramel white chocolate. I think they were out over the summer when the Orange Twirls were out. I got a box of the orange ones(!) but didn't get hold of a caramello one.

There's a change.org petition to bring back Secret.

As an aside, I use to love eating Walkers salt and vinegar and a Cadbury dairy milk at the same time as a student. Need to try that again!
