I just ate two time out wafers, which I really like, but I'd love one of the old two fingered Time Outs that had the later of twirl type chocolate in the middle.

I loved a Spira too. And a Galaxy Liaison.

Any other chocolate bars you miss and could eat right now

They used to make a white chocolate bar called a milky bar choo. I loved it Grin used to buy one at petrol station when my dad would stop to fill up.

cookiecreampie · 07/06/2021 13:12

Cadbury Marble. The Australian ones sold in B and M are not the same. I also miss Nestle Double Cream.

Spiras and Cabana bars. My old faves. Oh and Golden Cups! They were so much better than a Cadbury's Caramel.

KurtWilde · 07/06/2021 13:19

Secret, Blitz and Cabana. Loved them.

Moonmelodies · 07/06/2021 13:23

Chunky Aero bar, and Terry's Neapolitans (not even available in Naples).

ElderMillennial · 07/06/2021 13:26

I've managed to get dark chocolate bounty's but can't remember where

Maybe at Morrison's

I'd forgotten about the fat Aero's

I've definitely seen Fry's but again can't remember where, maybe also at Morrison's

I seen to remember one where it was like a Time Out but had chopped nuts in the top section ?

KurtWilde · 07/06/2021 13:31

I remember a Nutty bar too. It was like chewy peanut fudge in the middle with peanuts in caramel stuck all over it. No one else seems to remember it!

DinosaurDiana · 07/06/2021 13:31

I’ve seen the five flavour Fry bars around, but I don’t know where as I don’t like them so don’t take much notice !

DinosaurDiana · 07/06/2021 13:31

Lion bars

anguauberwaldironfoundersson · 07/06/2021 13:34

@Georgieporgie29

Spira, Flyte, Drifter. In order of their last existence (I think).
I always say Spirabut I'd forgotten all about Drifter. I bloody loved those!

Vice Versa

Livpool · 07/06/2021 13:44

Spira
Secret
Drifter
Mingles
Pyramint

Home Bargains always have dark chocolate Bountys

Teddypicker · 07/06/2021 13:58

Aztec bar!

Pinuporc · 07/06/2021 14:07

I remember Cadbury chocolate being much nicer than it is now
I used to love the individually wrapped little tiny bars of dairy milk in a drawer (they were about the size of a postage stamp)

UnitedRoad · 07/06/2021 14:43

In the 80s you could buy Cadbury’s mint crisp, but only from a machine, at a small railway station in Surrey (might have been other places, but believe me, I’ve searched). The machine only sold this one chocolate bar, and it was the most delicious thing ever. I think I’ve only had it twice but would love to have it again. Apparently it’s still sold in Ireland.

Any mint chocolate. Mingles definitely, and I’m sure there was wispa mint once.

ElderMillennial · 07/06/2021 14:51

I think there was a mint crisp bar recently? It was a small mint bar with rice crispies and mint, I think

I do like mint chocolate

The terrys mint was really good

As a child, I was completely addicted to a chocolate bar that came in many flavours. Wrapped in plastic, it shouted "YES!" (that was the name). You could slide the bar out of a thick, white paper as you ate, or take it out completely. It was a spongy chocolate cake, dipped in chocolate, so double the pleasure Grin My favourite was caramel, I've never found anything coming close to that delicious taste Sad

Large Tesco stores often sell it in the world food section. I bought it from newsagents in the '90s and early 2000s.

The dairy milk with shortbread bits in, I would do anything to have it back Grin

Navilana · 07/06/2021 15:10

And it had a creamy mousse in the middle Blush

@ElderMillennial @Picklypickles I saw dark choc bounty in coop at the weekend.

Caramel81 · 07/06/2021 15:29

I agree with pp about the Australian Cadbury marble bar not being as good. I was addicted to them back in the 90s! I also used to love a milky bar choo and a Cadbury wildlife bar

MadisonAvenue · 07/06/2021 15:32

Spira
Pyramints
Secret
Mint Wispa

I worked in a high street sweet shop when these were all available and they were such good sellers, especially Spira, they were among our most popular products. They must’ve been discontinued due to production reasons, certainly not because sales were poor!
