I've been researching my family tree and there are a lot of surnames, mostly usual Irish, Scottish but some interesting ones and it got me thinking about surnames in general.

I always thought Italian surnames are very beautiful, Baccino, Santangelli.

I love ones that are simple such as Flower, Beach and Ocean too.

So, what's the most beautiful one you have ever heard?

I love Snowball too; my great aunt was a Snowball by marriage. I like another of our family names Heavyside; not beautiful but interesting with an interesting history.

Also have an ancestor who was an Arrowsmith. Why it had to become my boring name I don't know.
