What is the most beautiful surname you have heard?

I've been researching my family tree and there are a lot of surnames, mostly usual Irish, Scottish but some interesting ones and it got me thinking about surnames in general.

I always thought Italian surnames are very beautiful, Baccino, Santangelli.

I love ones that are simple such as Flower, Beach and Ocean too.

So, what's the most beautiful one you have ever heard?

I went to school with Lydia Pink...... at 5 years old....😁

Loveday is my maiden name, everyone used to say I sound like a hippie.

I love the surname Gold.

I like names with Van eg Van Zanten.

I remember an accountancy firm called Bloomer Heaven.

I've known a family named Blood. Ive come across a doctor called Freddie Frost

My sisters married name is Bloomer.
And I used to know a Mabel Bytheway.

My Mum had a friend called Mrs Stronginarm. Unfortunately, she was the last in her family so that was the end of that medieval name. My grandmother was Crutchfield.

I love the Irish names... O'Hara for instance.

I love surnames starting with Raven. I know a Mr Ravenwood.

The most perfect though depressing name I've ever come across in my genealogical adventures was Mr Constant Downer.

Good is a good name, quite common. I’ve never met someone called Bad. I know a family named Peace and they’re all nice.

My cousin married a Badcock.

My surname is Rose, alot of people say how nice it is when I give them my name.

That was my late mother's maiden name. I'm thinking of changing mine to it, it's lovely 🌹

Name changed for this as too outing but my maiden name was Lavender.

Heard a few air freshener jibes over the years but it's such a pretty surname.

Swapped it for a totally boring and common surname when I married DH which I kind of regret.

I used to know a Shakespeare. His nickname was Shakes. He was a distant relative l believe.

I had s colleague called Rose.

Both my maiden name & married name are quite rare.

I always wanted to be a Vaughan though. Love that name.

A friend of mine at uni had the surname Stormbolt. If she was ever asked how it was spelled she said “Storm like lightning, bolt like lightning” always thought that was a pretty cool name.
