What is the most beautiful surname you have heard?

I've been researching my family tree and there are a lot of surnames, mostly usual Irish, Scottish but some interesting ones and it got me thinking about surnames in general.

I always thought Italian surnames are very beautiful, Baccino, Santangelli.

I love ones that are simple such as Flower, Beach and Ocean too.

So, what's the most beautiful one you have ever heard?

Truelove is beautiful.

Not exactly a pretty surname but I almost married a man with the surname Powell. I always liked the name. It’s always felt like a really good strong name to me. Also, the surname Banks. I’ve always loved that surname too!

As for pretty names, i love Christmas/snowball/Valentine.

I used to work with someone with the surname Hope. Always thought that was a lovely name too.

Wrong thread, but I had a teacher called Mrs Wigglesworth. You'd change that, wouldn't you? Also had dealings with a Mr Pratt. And yes he was one. Knew a huge family with the surname Sparrowhawk. There were dozens and dozens of them.

I once taught a child, surname Darling. First name, Valentine.

I know a Tiffany Purdy - great name for a Bond girl. She's a doctor of physics!

I was once engaged to a Mr Macbeth, it didn't work out, maybe I was more in love with his name, I really wanted to be Mrs Macbeth but we weren't suited in the end, still think it's a beautiful surname

I understand where you’re coming from, but would just like to point out that Trevelyan is Cornish, not Welsh.

I worked for a Valentine.

My job title was ‘Executive Assistant to J Valentine’

And he was a lovely kind man so his name suited him.

I know of a Dr Virtue. There was a Candy Twiss at a company I previously worked for.

I knew someone at school with the surname Lovelady and another one called Lavalette, it always made me think of a white paper doiley type of thing don’t know why

I also used to follow an ice-hockey player with the fabulous surname of D'Amor.
