Had your jab? Care to compare side effects?

I had the AZ jab a couple of days ago - feel like I've got the worst hangover. Ever. Very tired. Sore arm.

Someone I know had tge Pfizer jab and had no side effects at all.

Brew Hope you feel better soon. I felt achey and generally a little bit shitty for a day, then fine. My Dad felt the same but my Mum was absolutely fine. It’s strange how varied the side effects are.

DH and I had the AZ jab last Monday within minutes of each other at 2pm. At 11pm we both started shivering and it went downhill from there... both up all night aching, shivering and sweating, we've not felt so ill in years. Spent all of the next day on the sofa feeling terrible but by tea time we were a lot better. My 75 Yr old mum had the AZ and had no issues at all.

I had AZ. I had no symptoms, other than that I couldn't lie on that side for about a week. My arm didn't hurt at any other time (not even when I poked it for scientific purposes)

I had the Pifzer, really sore arm and the next day slight temperature and headache. Apparently the side effects from the 2 nd dose can be worse, I'm due the second dose on Tuesday but I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'm OK as I've got to work all week!

I had AZ last week at 11am. By 8pm I felt terrible, worst headache ever, shattered, shivery. Stayed in bed all next day. Following day I got up but was washed out for about 3 days. Awful 😞

I had Pfizer, incredibly sore arm, chills, headache, temperature. Felt like sh!t but 48 hours later I'm fine

Small bruise as I usually get from all injections and it hurts when I poke it so I just stop poking it and it's fine. No other side effects.

I had Pfizer. Felt fine for 48 hours and then woke up and couldn't stop sneezing and blowing my nose and had a banging headache. By early afternoon, it had completely gone. Bizarre.

Pfizer, slight tenderness around the injection site other than that no symptoms. My 87 year old Mum who is quite frail had the Pfizer jab, also, only had a slightly sore arm for about 24 hours

I've had one AZ jab. I had a sore throat the next day. I have also been suffering really bad with forgetfulness and searched for that as a side effect but couldn't find anything. However, a PP on another thread mentioned that symptom was a symptom of covid?!

AZ over two weeks ago. This is the first day I've felt ok. Started with just very sore heavy arm, then fluey, stiff, achey, stomach pain, nausea and feeling completely wiped out. Hope second dose isn't worse than this!

Had the AZ on Tuesday. Slight ache around injection site but otherwise no effects whatsoever.

Had the pfeizer 3 weeks ago. No side effects apart from a sore arm for approximately 36 hours.

Pfeizer on Weds. had headache and was utterly exhausted on Fri. This weekend I’ve felt quite hot, but temp normal.

Arm ok. Was expecting achy injection site, but can’t even tell where it was.

Had AZ yesterday morning. Slept all afternoon. By the evening I had temperature, shivers, bad headache and aches. Been in bed all day today. Still feeling achy and tired but the temperature seems to have subsided.

I had the Pfizer a week ago and had no side effects. I really hope this thread won't put people off the vaccine. If we want to return to normal we need to all have the vaccine.

Pfizer... My limbs felt really heavy the next day, but that was it.

AZ on Friday. Very tired on Friday evening and sore arm overnight. Nothing else.

Pfizer Tues. fine Wed. Migraine thurs. mild headache Fri. headache all day and exhausted Saturday. Fine today

Pfizer. Sore arm for a day, less so than the flu jab. Nothing else. Very happy indeed but very willing to have a few days in bed to prevent dying later (underlying conditions).

I had the Pfizer one in late January, I had a sore arm for 48 hours but no other side effects.

Pfizer. Sore arm for 48 hours and tiredness (but the latter might be a coincidence). Then back to normal.

Interesting thread but this has me a bit worried. It sounds like some of these side effects would be enough to cause a relapse in a chronic health condition I have.

The soreness was nothing that interfered with everyday life. More like a consciousness/ heaviness of that arm.
