Prince Philip in Hospital

I hope he's alright. I suppose at his age it's always a worry. I thought that when he retired a few years ago that he may have health worries, so I wonder if stuff has caught up with him.

I remember seeing an episode of Challenge Anneka and the way he pushed a load of journalists away to let the kids play on the new playground was a joy to see.

I hope he makes it to 100. I know they're a stoic bunch but even so, he's very old. Wish him a speedy recovery!

Many years is unrealistic but I do hope he gets through whatever is ailing him and is soon discharged. Most of us would like to end our days at home and he probably feels the same. I wish him good luck.

I would love for him to make 100 too just for the photo of him getting his card - I think they as a couple have a great sense of humour and this would have them laughing. I know they have the best care etc etc but I think they have been very stoic and to carry on working till so late in life is some achievement in itself whoever you are

He's an amazing man.
Considering the era he was born in he's put up with a lot from politicians and the royal household who often treated him badly.
His dm was an incredible woman too helping Jews during WW2 .

I'm not a supporter of the royals but after watching a documentary on his mother years ago and then a bit of further research, I fell in love with her and then him. There's footage of her, dressed like a nun wandering down the aisle at his wedding, so relaxed, not giving a fuck. She had a history of Mental illness, it would've been easy for him to shove her into private care, declaring her mad. He didn't, she spent her last years chain smoking and free. He was a good son to her and that will do me.
