DD recovering from a bad experience with a blood test and I barely slept last night for no apparent reason, so a quiet afternoon with telly for us.

Checking in so I've got it bookmarked. Though we've still got about 15 spaces left on thread 10.

I was very appreciative of the jacket potatoes DH had in the oven for me when I got home from work. They hit exactly the spot. I reckon I now have about 20 minutes until the need for a post lunch nap kicks in.

Hi all, today I had home made pizza for lunch , it was supposed to be bread roll and home made soup but I forgot to make the soup - I was distracted with work so made the dough into a pizza , topped with olives cherry tomatoes cream cheese and red onion marmalade , delicious 😋

Went for an icy run before the rain came at lunchtime, while DH very selflessly took DS and ddog for a walk. Poor DH is now very chilly because DS is a dawdler par excellence. I am nice and warm from my run but looking forward to a nice warm shower in a bit.

DS is desperate to show his teacher his planets on the ceiling of his bedroom so we may do the teams meeting from there this afternoon.

Super dull day here.

We had an email from the DC school last week as they're starting Zoom calls. We asked them last March if they'd do it and they flat refused, but have now come round to the idea. Anyway, the email stated very clearly that pupils were to participate in common areas only and must not access them from bedrooms. So I'm guessing they're still reluctant to do it and trying to cover themselves from every direction.

DS had been homelearning refusing all day. DD did hers though wasn't sure how her assessment went.

DS just dug out an old notebook and I found this in it. Obviously drawn for Mumsnet, but can I remember what on earth was going on? I cannot. And I suspected I chickened out of posting as I generally do when there’s any level of controversy, and definitely did when DS was little as I had PND and was aware that a good old MN pile-on would have just about floored me.

Reversing Lady is reversing down a one way street? Which has made Cross Man cross as you don't expect cars to be coming at you?

She missed the turn where the other car is coming out? So is reversing to get to it. But now Other Car and Cross Man are blocking her way?

It is a diagram of mystery. I normally have a pretty good memory, but I can’t remember a single thing about this. I can’t even think where there is a one-way street like that around here 🤷‍♀️

No idea what diagram is but you would have been fine to post on MN as it contains a crossman so whatever happened it was his fault.

We've just had vegan pancakes and nutella and banana with glass of cider. The vegan pancakes are not nice, I sent DH the BBC receipe which was rated 4/5 but DD said DH decided to 'improve' it as he didn't want fat pancakes so added twice the oak milk. I love fat pancakes but DH being French prefers the super-thin ones. I'm having another one as I love nutella and with nutella you don't taste the oat milk.

I've just sent an e-mail back to school for EHCP parents views.

DS has at least finished his screaming himself to sleep then being mute and is back to eating.

The candle I bought from Tesco doesn't smell of anything. I was worried it would smell too strong!

I have to pay 65p to send an email to prison. I feel slightly indignant about that. Do I have to pay 65p for them to respond?

I've just ate some raisins.

I came to bed early and now I'm peckish.

I just woke up which isn't good as its only 1am and I went to sleep only an hour or two ago.
