I put the last message in, and didn't find a new thread. Which I found disquiting, so to calm my nerves here goes.

So glad, I was working up to doing one myself.
I am reading Born to be Mild on my old kindle while DS and DH watch Back to the Future III.

We've put the heating on - it is already up 2°C.

We have jumpers on, heating won't be many days away. It comes on with the thermostat so I think the thermostat is probably telling us we are being a bit nesh.

I have a glass of red wine.

I got some local cheese today. It was on the expensive side, but it’s good stuff, so I got it anyway.

Also, I had three Pokémon Go friend requests from fellow MNers this week, and we’re all demon grifters, which is nice.

I have just bought an extension lead.

I bought some new wax melts from Asda earlier.

I’m having a foot rub watching Judy... I’m actually enjoying the film, wasn’t sure I would.

Temperature has reached a staggering 18°C - but the thermostat is on a timer and will switch off soon.
And then I will go to bed.

Is it just me, or did Renee Zellweger seem to be channeling Julie Walters? I mean, there are worse people to channel, but I kept expecting her to give it some Mrs Overall.

I was going to have a nice bath this evening but then didn't.

I managed to fix the radiator in DD's room.
DD'S new bed smells like fish. I have no idea why.
The takeaway I ordered an hour ago still hasn't arrived.

Da just plugged in his phone to charge. I am eating biscuits and wondering if I should go to bed.

I ate dinner. Before that, I went for a walk.

I cut my hair today. Which revealed I needed to address my eyebrows. So I did them too. Then I had a lie down with the paper.

I have a nice cup of tea to drink before bed. Good old DH.

My dd8 is still awake. She says it's because I havent told her its bed time yet.

We had roast beef for dinner. First time in ages after I had the realisation I could avoid lots of leftovers by buying a slightly larger joint, cutting it in half and freezing the rest. But then forgot the horseradish. Doh!

I cleaned the bathroom within an inch of its life and now DD3 is taking a bath.

DD4 has been on the phone with her friends for an hour and a half. I suspect she's the one who left the tub of ice cream out on the counter.

I'm going to have to cook tomorrow as we had the last of the leftovers today.

I finally sanded a little oval wooden table I bought in a second hand shop as it was windy enough to blow away the dust I generated. I've decided to paint the legs black but I don't know what to do with the top. I'm going to move the current kitchen table out of there and put the small oval table in instead. We really only use the kitchen table for breakfast and cups of tea, and unfortunately for dumping stuff on, so hopefully all the random stuff will be dumped somewhere else.

Bought a Halloween tea towel. Found a bag of Doritos hiding in back of pantry. Ate them.

I noticed my eyebrows need a tidy, so made an appointment with the beautician.

Debobbled a jumper and looked at filing cabinets on-line.

I’m sat in bed with a stinking cold. I have the next two weeks off work and I’m starting it feeling lousy. Damn the kids going back to school. Sore throat. Snotty nose funny head. Ugh.

I had a bath. I'm now having some blue cheese and apple.
