Curry I hope you do not mind?
I put the last message in, and didn't find a new thread. Which I found disquiting, so to calm my nerves here goes.

Dh took the dc’s for breakfast at the in-laws.
Bil and his 2 kids have arrived and the kids are happily playing. (In NSW, Aus so our restrictions have just eased again)
As dh and bil are now watching basketball and will be back at some stage this afternoon.

So I’m going for a jog (ok it’s more walk than jog) then I’m going to go buy a coffee and cake to eat alone without anyone talking at me or pinching my cake and then I’m going to do some gardening.

Frownette · 27/09/2020 03:09

Dull. Unexciting. Was trying to plan Xmas presents.

Slept a lot and had a vivid dream where I was had inspectors round to mark my bedroom, then got chased around by a mini dinosaur. Tried to steal one of the inspectors' cigarettes and got caught. Woke up.

After dream fun and games, went to corner shop, then later the supermarket, spoke to a couple of people and a relative. Ate pasta parcels and broccoli and asparagus in the evening, with melted brie on fresh bread.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 27/09/2020 05:59

I am sat on a chair in the office.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 27/09/2020 08:51

The heating came on - heated the flat to the desired temperature and then switched off again.
4 workspaces at a comfortable temperature (if you wear appropriate clothing), which is fine.

Unloaded / re-loaded various cleaning machines and set them going again.

Filled online shopping basket with thermals and pjs for everyone then noticed the total so thought I might leave it for a bit.

Need to find DC swimsuits as lessons start again this week, in theory.

boatyardblues · 27/09/2020 09:34

DH is giving DS (12) another ironing lesson, at DS’ request. This may be too exciting for this thread. I know I’m excited about him being trained in the domestic arts.

I am still eating toast in my pjs and MNing. The proper order of things.

SpeedofaSloth · 27/09/2020 09:35

I just ordered two wincyette nightshirts.

I am going to do the ironing today. After last week's ironing mountain clearance this week shouldn't be so bad.

Nicolastuffedone · 27/09/2020 09:42

I’m cleaning out the fridge

briebuiltthiscity · 27/09/2020 09:43

We thought about putting the heating on - then decided it might be too warm, so added an extra layer each instead.
Dh has discovered chocolate orange Twirls which I will be trying later today.

GetRid · 27/09/2020 09:43

In bed with a terrible cold, snotty tissues everywhere. Contemplating getting up and making a pot of tea but it feels like a lot of effort.

fairydustandpixies · 27/09/2020 09:56

I've got to clean my house today but instead I'm still in bed with elderly ddog.

DrivingAgain2020 · 27/09/2020 10:03

I just tried to post on the last thread.

@Spudlet can you buy a 1 month data add on from your mobile provider?

I slept under my duvet and with a weighted blanket. Combined with the long walk yesterday I slept well.

Also the anti histamine I took. The doctor prescribed them for sleep but they make me drowsy so I don't like to take them on work nights. However I have found they work wonders when I am having an flare up of my very itchey dishydrotic eczema. Is this a known connection I wonder (off to google). It is bearable today while I wait for my new cream to arrive.

My first night under the winceyette was amazing, I pray your first night in the winceyette is as wonderful Grin
ArseholesOnToast · 27/09/2020 11:14

I took some lamb burgers out of the freezer for dinner.

I conducted a freezer audit as I wasn’t sure what we had in and then spent an enjoyable 10mins amending my Ocado order.

Hectic.

TheBlueStocking · 27/09/2020 11:19

Planning on watching a film in 35 minutes.

CremeEggThief · 27/09/2020 11:24

I just had croissants and coffee. Now I'm going to clean the bathroom and hoover and mop downstairs.

Something really exciting did happen last night, but I'd better not share it here!

Nydj · 27/09/2020 11:38

I have a cold. DH offered to make me toast to have in bed this morning but I declined. I then wanted toast so send DC to apologise to my DH on my behalf and ask for toast. DH made toast and cut it up into soldiers and brought it up for me.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 27/09/2020 11:38

CremeEgg
Now you have disquieted us all - calm us down again.

I wrote some letters to relatives in care homes who do not use PCs / smartphones but enjoy snailmail.

Spudlet · 27/09/2020 11:42

Found you all!

@DrivingAgain2020 We might have to. I will be very annoyed if we do though. We’ve both got pretty generous plans but DH is a web developer so depending on how many uploads he does, we might burn through that pretty quickly.

I have beef bourginuon in the slow cooker, although I can’t actually spell it. DH has ironed all DS’s school uniform for the week. I am on the sofa with a hot water bottle now as I have horrible period pain, and DH is about to go for a bike ride. I just offered to knit him some long socks for the winter and he has not dignified this with a response Grin

FlowFlow7722 · 27/09/2020 11:43

Having big family discussion about whether to put the heating on or not. Dd has corona and I think central heating would spread it more in doors vs I am freezing... the discussion continues...

redlockscelt · 27/09/2020 11:48

We have a red squirrel sitting on the patio Smile

Nydj · 27/09/2020 11:50

Seeing a red squirrel is pretty exciting isn’t it?

SpeedofaSloth · 27/09/2020 12:07

@Champagneforeveryone I will report back when they arrive Grin

I am taking a small break from the ironing. It is taking a while as I am also supervising DD's homework.

boatyardblues · 27/09/2020 12:08

@Nydj

Seeing a red squirrel is pretty exciting isn’t it?
Definitely! I saw one in the wild in the Lake District about 25 years and think I’ll be lucky if I see another in my lifetime.
Spudlet · 27/09/2020 12:08

Oh dear. DH has come back in disconsolate, with a flat tyre. He doesn’t have a spare tube so he’s stuck. He is talking about going for a run, but without much enthusiasm. Poor DH Sad
