I love these threads. Am also trying to at more fruit and veg so hoping for inspiration. Today I had

Aldi frosty flakes, pomegranates and raspberries with semi skimmed milk

2 biscuits

5 aldi gourmet crackers, cheese, red pepper hummus, chilli jam, slice of ham, grapes, carrot batons and cucumber sticks

Halloumi in bread roll with caramelized onion hummus, lettuce and chilli jam, sweet potato fries on side

L: falafel and hummus salad, 2 apricots

D: halloumi and vegetable kebabs with pilaf. Lemon yoghurt. Glass of red wine.

Two mugs of Yorkshire tea with semi skimmed milk.

Two scrambled eggs on white sourdough toast with butter and marmite.

Espresso.

Handful of bombay mix.

Jacket potato, slices of ham, home made cauliflower and broccoli cheese with grilled tomatoes.

2 glasses pinot.

Today I went to work, so
7am 2 brioche rolls
1pm prawn and chicken rice microwave ready meal, 1 small raisin biscuit
10.30pm 1 mini sausage roll

Drank less than 500mls water and 2 mugs of warm squash.

Lunch - ham salad
Tea - Diet Coke chicken and rice
Snacks - 2 babybels and a skinny whip

Lunch- lasagne & salad
Dinner- poached egg on toast with guacamole.
Snack- Cashew nuts, olives,

(Normally there is a lot more chocolate and snacking involved, but I’m trying to eat better)

Half a steak, new potatoes (with mint, mayo and spring onions), & salad (roast courgette, red onion, lettuce, Sundried tomatoes)
Slice of homemade pie (chicken chorizo red pepper pithivier) and steamed carrots

Today I had:
B: Brankflakes with skimmed milk

L: Red Pepper and Harissa Hummus with Celery, Apple and Carrot, a handful of nuts, Rhubarb Yoghurt and 2 squares of Chocolate

D: Korean Chicken Wings with Roasted Peppers and Red Onions witj steamed Broccoli and Rice

Gallons of tea, coffee, water and 2 big Gin & Tonics tonight while watching tv

B: pain au chocolate and coffee

L: harissa roast chicken, roast potatoes, and salad (leaves, cucumber, pepper, tomatoes), followed by chocolate mousse and coffee.

Mid afternoon: slice Victoria sponge and cup of tea. < this is unusual.

D: chilli cheese on toast, with salad and mango chutney.

Oh and a small glass of Sauvingnon Blanc with lunch, and about 1.5l water throughout the day.

Also four medjool dates in front of the TV this evening.

B - porridge with a few sultanas, coffee.
L - roast gammon dinner.
D - veggie stir-fry with Mexican seasoning in a couple of mini wraps with sour cream. Delish!!

Two poached eggs on wilted spinach and spring onion with fig balsamic reduction drizzle
Carrot and ginger soup (made it yesterday, leftovers)
Slow cooker leg of lamb, mashed garlic white beans, roast cauliflower, roast parsnips and roast carrots.
An orange and a plum this afternoon as a snack.
Typing it out makes it sound quite posh. It wasn’t. It was all consumed from the comfort of my sofa balanced on my boobs lest I spilled anything, with the Grand Prix or Escape to the Country on. Dd1 vetoed bake off as she didn’t bake today. Grin

Supper: roast gammon, roast potatoes, spinach (again! Growing it for the first time), Yorkshire puddings, carrots and broccoli.

My husband made me pancakes for breakfast topped with raspberry jam

Lunch: slice of carrot cake with a coffee

Dinner: tuna burger with chips and peas

Usually I'd eat more but I'm recovering from surgery and only just getting my appetite back. I'm not usually the cake for lunch type of person, but why not - decided I needed a treat

Am trying to eat healthier but not calorie counting or denying myself as I get obsessive. Just plenty of fruit and veg and home cooked meals . I really fancied pizza but will save it until the weekend! Lockdown is giving more balance which is only a good thing

Smoothie of banana, grapes, raspberries, pomegranates and milk for breakfast and cereal bar on way to work

Aldi gourmet crackers and hummus

Moroccan chicken in seeded wrap with lettuce, cucumber and garlic sauce. Lemon curd yogurt and satsuma

Sweet n sour chicken and veggie rice. Fried veg, added rice and spices. Bulks up the meal and will have leftovers for tomorrows lunch

Few spoons ben and Jerry's and wine
Felt guilty after ice cream but an trying to stop the mindset of bad or good food . Is damaging and just makes eating obsessive for me.

A very beige day until dinner!

Cheese and marmite bagel
Discos and a jam donut
A smoked cheese and tomato cheese-topped roll
Fish tacos with avocado, pineapple salsa and pickled cabbage
A Mars ice cream and some Dairy Milk.

We got a veg box today so tomorrow will be better… maybe.

Brunch - two slices of cheese on toast, coffee and a hobnob (I weighed 30g of cheese)

Coffee and three squares of Lidl chocolate with hazelnuts

Dinner was pasta with a passatta, bacon, mushrooms, peppers and onion sauce with mozzarella (weighed) and a slice of garlic bread.

I'm in bed now and am starving... I might join the teens for their daily midnight scavenge of the cupboards!!!

I half do my fitness Pal, I'm not obsessive but I like to keep an eye on my cheese consumption - it's a bad habit Blush

I've had waaaaaayyy too many carbs today but it's done now!
