My meal planning is in a rut, I need inspiration!

What are you all eating tonight?

We have Chinese take away

Crispy duck and pancakes
Special chow mein
Chicken balls
Beef and black bean sauce
Chicken with ginger and spring onions
Special fried rice

First Chinese since lockdown began.

Beef rib steak
Homemade chips
Goats cheese and garlic stuffed mushroom

Steak, chips, mushrooms and asparagus.

We had duck, mash and asparagus, all on offer in local supermarket.

Mediterranean pork steaks with cauliflower cheese and jacket potato

We had teriyaki salmon with savoury rice and long stem broccoli. Was delish. We'll have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Tomorrow is slow cooked gammon in coke with veg, mash, roasties, pigs in blankets and Yorkshires.

Still have to think about what to do for meals next week. I'm getting a bit fed up with all the "usual" options but stuck for ideas!

Just had an online chat and drink with a friend, we are going to order the same thing with the wine and try an online meal together

We had lemon herb chicken, corn cobs, salad and jacket potatoes

Steak with roast potatoes and onion gravy, green beans and carrots was last night. Fish and chips tonight.

Last night - homemade bobotie with salad
Lunch today is roast pork, mash, stuffing, cauliflower, broccoli and gravy.
Supper will be reheated leftover Bobotie

Spanakopita and salad today.

And tomorrow will be sweet and sour pork made with leftover roast pork from lunch today.

I love spanakopita Egg. My mum used to make it and brings back good memories.

We are doing chicken fried rice with an egg on top today.

Last night was pan fried hake with beurre blanc, mash and salad.

Roast today! I will never tire of roast potatoes.

Roast lamb with all the trimmings.

Pasta with a creamy pesto sauce made with leeks, mushrooms, courgettes and peas.

DS(14) has roasted a chicken with butter & Italian herbs. We're having it with crispy potatoes and veg.

I promised DS a picnic this weekend and of course its pelting down, so the blanket is being spread out in the living room and we're having quiche, pizza, cold pasta, potato salad, hoummus etc and have chocolate mousse for pud

Prawns & scallops in a white wine sauce served with pasta, then figs in brandy syrup for pudding.

Greek style marinated lamb leg steaks, with potato, aubergine and feta gratin and spinach.
The gratin is a new recipe I’m trying. I get half way through preparing it then read the reviews. Which weren’t good . Hopefully it’ll turn out ok.
