My meal planning is in a rut, I need inspiration!

What are you all eating tonight?

Nachos, with huge amounts of cheese, later while watching TV. It's our regular Saturday evening treat.

Potato salad with smoked mackerel and a green salad.

Just a large bag of chips from the chippy probably with some bread and butter for me and my husband to share once toddler is in bed
Toddler has just had spaghetti and meatballs and we just fancied a basic carby fatty very unhealthy dinner for a treat.

Take out fish n chips today. Haven’t had a day off cooking for ages so really looking forward to it.

I realise that doesn't help you with planning meals but we were planning to have campfire stew (pinch of nom recipe) so I recommend that!

Homemade creamy quorn ‘chicken’ and mushroom pie with puff pastry on top, green beans and mash.

Blackberry and apple crumble in the oven for later.

Feels like a Sunday but it’s cold and grey here after weeks of sunshine and that’s what we fancied

Just ordered kebabs. I've never ordered them before in my life but I just fancied one. Not even sure what we'll end up with but it's an adventure!

Homemade veggie burgers (Anna Jones recipe) in homemade rolls with pickles etc, baby new potatoes cooked in oven, salad

Sea trout and leek flan (made with left over sea trout from earlier in the week) and new potatoes.

Burgers (Aldi spicy bean for me, homemade beef for the others) in brioche buns with chips and salad.

Home made pizza. Toppings are salami, roast peppers, black olives and fresh chilli. 😋

Pasta in a sweet pepper sauce topped with southern fried chicken breasts, Parmesan and broccoli. Strawberries and raspberries for dessert.

Chicken and spinach curry with rice.

Sticky toffee pudding.

Chicken Kiev,baked potato and vegetables.
Yogurt for afters.

M & S are cooking tonight. never thought it would happen, but this household is cooked out. . .

So, slow roasted duck leg with a port and orange sauce, potato gratin, braised red cabbage and green spring vege medley.

I don't think the DD's are best pleased - they were hoping for Mum's maccy cheese, or Dad to do sirloin with a red wine jus, and veges. . .

Tiny meatballs in tomato sauce served with cauliflower cheese. Bit of an odd combination but using what I had in the fridge. Followed by ice cream, I made two so everyone can choose which they want - either raspberry ripple or Baileys and toasted pecan.

Spiced baked salmon with new potatoes and dressed lettuce. Yum.

Oven pizza, salad and strawberries all round. Been planning and looking forward to pizza night all week.

chilli and rice with nachos, guacamole, cheese and sour cream.

Tinned grapefruit and custard for pudding.

Jamie Oliver pepper and tomato pasta tray bake and home made focaccia bread for us. Although the bread is a tad over done!

Still undecided... either veggie burgers and chips or a stir fry. Will see what people fancy ( and will have the other one tomorrow anyway!)

Spinach mash with fried fish in a butter sauce with capers.

How do you do spinach mash @itbemay1? I might like the sound of that?
