Will you go out when lockdown is eased?

so say when coffee shops and restaurants are allowed to reopen, will you be going? I can’t see myself being comfortable going out to eat for quite some time

DaisylovesDonald · 04/05/2020 13:26

Yes I will

SpratsOnParade · 04/05/2020 13:27

Yes. I can't wait.

LaureBerthaud · 04/05/2020 13:28

I'll be first in line at the hairdressers!

Sunshinegirl82 · 04/05/2020 13:28

Definitely!

Lyricallie · 04/05/2020 13:28

Definitely, I'm still holding out and hoping for my November honeymoon to Thailand!

bookworm1 · 04/05/2020 13:28

Yes I will.

Delatron · 04/05/2020 13:28

Yep!
Will continue to be careful with hand washing.

Sleepyquest · 04/05/2020 13:29

I don't think so. I will go out, but I will opt for take away or sitting outside, meeting friends in the park etc

Bollss · 04/05/2020 13:29

yep absolutely.

Dialdownthedrama · 04/05/2020 13:30

Yep!

redeyetonowheregood · 04/05/2020 13:30

Yes. I have been working the whole time so it won't be so strange for me. And I want to support our economy.

Maybelatte · 04/05/2020 13:30

You lot are much braver than me. I won’t be rushing out at all.

IvinghoeBeacon · 04/05/2020 13:30

Yes of course, but I can’t see how these things will be open for sit-down meals etc for a long time. Other restrictions will be lifted first and most people will get used to being in public more first, though with social distancing measures in place I expect.

WriteAndErase · 04/05/2020 13:31

Yea but not straight away. I imagine places are going to be crazy busy so I'll wait for that to all calm down first.

Hugglespuffed · 04/05/2020 13:31

I can't imagine doing anything normal for a long while. Who knows if I'll change my mind! I reckon when things reopen I'll wait a while and see how things go.

KitKat1985 · 04/05/2020 13:32

Yep I can't wait! To be fair I strongly doubt shops / restaurants will be operating 'as normal' and there will probably be social distancing and strict limits on the amount of customers allowed in.

IvinghoeBeacon · 04/05/2020 13:32

It’s not really about rushing out - it’s not like they’re going to lift all restrictions next week. It will be much more gradual I expect and by the time things like restaurants reopening for table service comes in it won’t seem such a big difference

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 04/05/2020 13:32

Yes 100% can't wait .

H1978 · 04/05/2020 13:33

Part of me really wants to go to feel normal again but another is really anxious at eating out where there are other people and I’m not sure how the food has been handled Confused

Helmlover1 · 04/05/2020 13:33

Definitely. Can’t wait to go out!

Blobbyweeble · 04/05/2020 13:34

As I currently have COVID and my DH has had it, I’ll happily go out anywhere as soon as allowed.

RRocket · 04/05/2020 13:35

I've begged my hairdresser to tell me the very second she is allowed to work again, and I'll be first in line.

I'll also be back to my local pub when they reopen the beer garden.

We're all going to get covid. Lockdown has slowed the spread to allow the nhs to cope without being completely hammered, but it's pretty inevitable that most of us are going to get the virus, be it sooner or later.

ProfessorHasturLaVista · 04/05/2020 13:35

No, I won’t be going in shops or out to eat. Looking forward to long walks again, but going early to avoid too many people and taking sandwiches.

lifestooshort123 · 04/05/2020 13:35

Yes!!

Koddii · 04/05/2020 13:38

I hope so. It would be nice to go out to places.
