I’m avoiding the internet after tonight!

So far I’ve bought some seeds/ plants for the garden to keep us busy.

Some beauty products to make the most of all the time at home.

Some books for the dc and myself to read.

Some vitamins/supplements.

That’s it, no more non essentials now.

Yeah... I've had a splurge over the weekend too. Stuff for the garden, things to keep our son occupied, not treats for me... yet!

We are taking of buying a new hoover and taking advantage of my husband working from home 😂 not done it yet more because my husband takes an age to make a decision!

neversleepagain · 22/03/2020 21:33

Cooker, fridge freezer, Hobby Craft supplies, Baker Ross supplies, Lego and Sylvanian families from Amazon, books for me and DC, cat food from Amazon

Broke now!

Divebar · 22/03/2020 21:34

Yes some books from Amazon ( art books and English / Maths ) for DD, a couple of books for myself, seeds and a couple of rose bushes for the garden. I think I might buy some skincare for myself... l haven’t worn make-up for a week so ideal for slapping on some products while WFH. I’d quite like some kettle bells too but I suspect they might be sold out at the moment.

M0nstermunch · 22/03/2020 21:34

In the last week I have got online 3 x pairs of curtains, 2 curtain poles, ear phones, Amazon fire tablet, case and a printer! I really need to get off Amazon!!

Grabbners · 22/03/2020 21:34

We spent over £130 on paint and gardening stuff. We shall dig our garden and redecorate the kids' bedrooms to keep boredom at bay...

Ragwort · 22/03/2020 21:35

No, actually saving money by not doing anything .... never liked shopping on line anyway but I am now tempted to look at the Majestic Wine website ......

SouthWestmom · 22/03/2020 21:35

Spent £100 on two switch download codes that the kids wanted - would normally say no obviously. But these are bloody weird times and they've managed a weekend stuck in really well.

Grabbners · 22/03/2020 21:35

Oh cross posted. I think Monster may have taken the lead. Close call ...

A bread maker would be good if people don’t have one already.

Grabbners · 22/03/2020 21:36

Ah, more contenders!

Honestly, I've decided not to buy too much online if I can possibly help it. The less people who have to work to fulfil these orders and then deliver them the better.

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 22/03/2020 21:38

books, 2 nintendo games for DCs birthdays, hair colour for DD, and a badminton set.

kind of ashamed.

Bridecilla · 22/03/2020 21:39

We’re a week or two ahead of the UK and I have to say the trampoline for the back garden is absolutely the greatest panic buy I’ve ever made.
