Just a quiet place to sit. If you want to gloat or opinionate about Corbyn please go over to AIBU.

Group hug very much needed. Thank you. Too depressed to sleep...

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 00:10

Me too. Never post. Depressingly predictable tho.

KizzyWayfarer · 13/12/2019 00:11

Likewise, can’t sleep. Husband watching the results so I’m in the bedroom on my own except for the cat. Very grateful for feline company.

Devastated at how 'Little Englanders' English people really are. The Great Empire. Blah blah me hole.

I'm so upset. Fucking stupid fucking people. Do people not understand what they are voting for? Or don't they care?

FlamingoAndJohn · 13/12/2019 00:14

It’s horrid. How could people do this?
I understand that some people don’t like Corbyn but to vote Tory? How could they do that?

Mammyloveswine · 13/12/2019 00:15

😭😭😭😭😭

JasonPollack · 13/12/2019 00:15

Am so sad. Keep thinking about my baby son and what a horrible country he's going to inherit.

heyday · 13/12/2019 00:15

Unbelievable really!!!! It really is hard to sleep now

TooStressyTooMessy · 13/12/2019 00:16

I am also very sad and infuriated. Was meant to go to sleep over an hour ago but have been miserably following the results.

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 00:17

Hugs to you all. I’m not looking forward to my ageing parents joy about a party winning that I think will (and has) destroy the institution they will need in the next few years... (sorry, I know this was supposed to be a quiet place ☹️)

ThisIsSanta · 13/12/2019 00:17
Xmas Sad
zsazsajuju · 13/12/2019 00:17

It’s awful. I blame both Corbyn and Boris tho. It should have been easy but Corbyn is a student politician who is out of touch with the base. But it’s just awful

LissJas · 13/12/2019 00:17

Well I'm thrilled that my dd private school will no longer be under threat. Conservatives are leading by a massive majority compared to what was expected. And frankly, I'll sleep easier tonight.

Lexie365 · 13/12/2019 00:17

had not realized until i saw the exit polls how much i had gotten my hopes upAngry

TooStressyTooMessy · 13/12/2019 00:18

My parents are visiting this weekend. They will have voted Tory. Spending time with them is difficult at the best of times. I am going to hope not to discuss politics at all.

TheBananaInPyjamas · 13/12/2019 00:18

I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. So so sad. Already had a cry this evening.

Trying to hold out hope - but it isn't looking likely.

I really despair for the future of this country, our children, the homeless, our NHS. I know it makes me sound close minded but I honestly don't understand how someone can vote Tory. I just don't get it.

Foxes157 · 13/12/2019 00:18

I'm sitting here silently raging at my Tory voting husband

The eldest like most of her generation is on my side and voted labour

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 00:18

I think people want to ‘get Brexit done’

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 00:18

Bloody Cameron

SukiPutTheEarlGreyOn · 13/12/2019 00:19

It’s not a massive surprise yet I feel more devastated than I thought I would. It really is a pile of poo and I’m already dreading the thought of BJ’s gloating face in the morning. Hugs to all.Flowers

Foxes157 · 13/12/2019 00:20

Bananas that's totally my thoughts.

Mulledwineinajug · 13/12/2019 00:20

Devastated

Helmlover1 · 13/12/2019 00:20

So upsetting. The reality set in about an hour ago for me personally when some of my friends put statuses on their social media worrying about how they are going to afford their arthritis treatment in the future and another is concerned about affording healthcare on her low wage for her young son who is diabetic. People are genuinely petrified and it’s so, so wrong. What an uncaring, selfish society we’re living in.
