Just a quiet place to sit. If you want to gloat or opinionate about Corbyn please go over to AIBU.

But @AtrociousCircumstance let’s ignore. “Better to be talked about than not” no?

ginginchinchin · 13/12/2019 00:49

Sorry - forgot to say at 9.50 said person disclosed they hadn't even registered to vote Hmm

Quinceandmedlarsrule · 13/12/2019 00:50

How can so many people not see Boris as the lying privileged arse that he is? Shame labour didn't get rid of JC and find someone who people would be happy to have as a PM. Boris cares about no-one else apart from himself and his rich cronies. I despair of the stupidity of people who voted for him ☹️

2018SoFarSoGreat · 13/12/2019 00:50

I am so, so sorry and sad. I"m in the US, but Scottish, and watching this with such fear that people like BJ and DT are winning. They show us who they are, and they are celebrated and get the votes. The whole bloody world is going down the toilet, and these men are being given the green light.

So sad. Hugs all round.

7dayslater · 13/12/2019 00:51

I'm absolutely devastated. It's heartbreaking.

I thought it would at least be close. I'm clinging onto the hope that the exit polls are way off. Sad

PickAChew · 13/12/2019 00:51

If Blyth couldn't vote Corbyn, he needs gone

ginginchinchin · 13/12/2019 00:51

I think we're pretty certain Boris is a lying arse but at least it's obvious.

Geppili · 13/12/2019 00:52

Gutted

gluteustothemaximus · 13/12/2019 00:53

I don't understand.

Jeremy brought so many crowds, so much support online and in real life.

Boris gets booed, dodges interviews, is hated when talked about.

Don't understand at all.

KizzyWayfarer · 13/12/2019 00:53

Thinking of those here whose family are already in the front line of cuts like those with disabled kids or ill parents. It’s scary enough for those of us only thinking about the big picture, not direct consequences to those we love.

Can anyone explain where bojo is going to get his workers from.

50000 nurses, lack of immigrants. Nothing that would make care workers apply

Why cannot people are the truth

JimmyGrimble · 13/12/2019 00:56

The tories have lied and lied and lied. And the great British public have lapped it up. I’m devastated and ashamed and so worried about the children I teach. I know that I’ll be alright but so many people are going to suffer terribly. It’s awful and sad.

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 00:57

Ok. So I know, from long time lurking (10 years!) that not everyone is replied to or engaged in conversation...but could someone acknowledge I’m here? Please. I know I have said nothing insightful but I want to know I engaging

Whateveryoudoordontdo · 13/12/2019 01:00

Utterly devastated. Want to cry. The future is looking bleak. And Tory voters walk among us.

playftseforme · 13/12/2019 01:00

Devastated

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 01:01

Oh jeez I ‘am’ engaging face palm

BIWI · 13/12/2019 01:01

I simply can't understand why people would vote for a lying, cheating man, who clearly who has no morals or scruples. Leading a party that champions austerity as a deliberate measure, rather than actually looking to helping people in our society who are in the most need.

Those of you who have voted Conservative - shame on you.

confusedandemployed · 13/12/2019 01:01

@JimmyGrimble exactly. If anything, a Tory win will secure my future, but only if I don't want to spend time in Europe, don't fancy getting cancer, don't fancy quitting my job or don't fancy going back to uni.

If any one of those things happens, then I - like the huge majority - am fucked.

Antigonads · 13/12/2019 01:01

@WashingtonIrving

There you go. But I’m from the dark side ...

Vaquita5 · 13/12/2019 01:02

I'm thinking JC has proved he's no liar - all he needed to do was promise Brexit and he surely would have won? How anyone can vote Tory has always been beyond me, but this is a new low. The town next to mine has just voted in a Tory after 70 odd years. Good luck to them. If the same has happened in my constituency, I'll no longer be donating to the food bank. Let them wallow. I'm saving for a non-NHS future; now I'm older I'll prob need all the cash I can get for private treatment.

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 01:03

@Antigonads thank you

ronconcoke · 13/12/2019 01:04

Really depressed. I was hoping against hope for a hung parliament at least.

The Tories are going to well and truly fuck us up. Like so many others here, I just cannot believe that people have voted for them!

Yes, it seems we do live in a society that has stopped giving a fuck about anyone else.

Not sure I can sleep either. Partly because I'm dreading waking up to the headlines.

WashingtonIrving · 13/12/2019 01:04

@Antigonads I like your style ;)

SueDoeName · 13/12/2019 01:04

I've retreated to Netflix ☹️

JoGose · 13/12/2019 01:06

I honestly feel awful. I just don’t understand how it’s happened
