Just a quiet place to sit. If you want to gloat or opinionate about Corbyn please go over to AIBU.

@LissJas selfish privileged attitude there. Never mind everyone else suffering under the government, as long as the private schools are all right. Disgusting.

dreichXmas · 13/12/2019 03:35

My dc also attend a private school and I'm bloody gutted.
I know my family are in a privileged position and didn't mind paying a bit more to support others.
But those with less chose to give me more instead of funding their own healthcare and education.
I am honestly struggling to understand it.
I want to live in a better society than we are going to for the next five years.

highlandcoo · 13/12/2019 03:38

Very very depressing on so many levels Sad

I'll probably be OK myself financially but I don't understand why so many people just don't seem to care about others who are less fortunate. Why shouldn't we pay more tax and make sure those who need support are looked after?

I'm sad that we've lost our chance to escape Brexit.

And I'm sure that Scotland will leave the Union now and I didn't want that either Sad

Broken11Girl · 13/12/2019 03:51

Sad This will kill vulnerable people with physical and mental health problems. All because some twats think Boris is funny and blah England back empire blah people on benefits with big TVs.
I have mh issues, a lot of my friends do, help is already basically unavailable.
😭

Broken11Girl · 13/12/2019 03:52

The troll LissaJas or whatever it's called itself can get to fuck.

Muddlingalongalone · 13/12/2019 03:53

I'm going to bed. Very disappointing evening....

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 13/12/2019 04:01

Ugh Peterborough has gone back to conservatives. This is all just so horrible

Fouroutoffour · 13/12/2019 04:23

My constituency (con>lab in 2017) has narrowly stayed Labour, with a margin of less than 800 votes. Pretty much the only good thing I have been able to find about these resultsSad

Jasmin82 · 13/12/2019 04:24

Currently cuddling Resident collie. I am genuinely scared for how I'm going to survive the next 12 months, never mind 5 years. I had hopes of things getting better, now I only see them getting worse. As always, the most vulnerable will be hit the hardest by the policies of this government.

StealthPussy · 13/12/2019 04:27

I’m crying. Feel so depressed. There’s no hope. We’ve lost our long serving Labour MP. So gutted. What’s the point?
Lost the EU, lost JC, lost our labour MP, going to lose Scotland, going to lose the NHS. What the fuck is the point? Hate this country and all the stupid xenophobic selfish greedy people in it. Right now I want to move out of it as soon as we can.

Foslady · 13/12/2019 04:29

It’s the acceptance of misogyny, racism and the erosion of services for the vulnerable.
Remind you of anywhere in the 1930’s........I’m genuinely scared for the future

bogginmacaroni · 13/12/2019 04:29

So sad

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 13/12/2019 04:32

Overseas voter here seeing my life still not returning home for another 5yrs. Just so sad for everyone in the homeland

DennisSkinnersMolotov · 13/12/2019 04:38

Throughout it all I clung only I hope that people would see past the Brexit bluster and vote against cruelty. Tonight that hope was lost.

Difficultcustomer · 13/12/2019 04:39
Sad

Poppyfields21

Another childless by choice here, I am happy to pay for state education because that is being part of society.

I used to work for the NHS, then I was a teacher, I used to give blood, I have put money in a charity box, I grow my hair to donate for children's wigs.

I don't expect thanks for any of these things because it is what people do in a society.

FoxFoxSierra · 13/12/2019 04:44
Sad
user1494050295 · 13/12/2019 04:45

I am surprised to see the Con gain in Wolverhampton given only a 55% turnout. Assuming 45% of voters in that constituency are disenfranchised or just don’t give a toss

RoonyTunes · 13/12/2019 04:46

I’m watching the results roll in from Sydney, it’s a bit like car crash tv - you don’t really want to look but can’t quite bring yourself to turn away. I am waiting to see just how quickly NI gets screwed over once the Conservatives no longer need them.

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/12/2019 04:46

😥😥😥 Thank you for starting this thread. Coming in for hugs and giving them too.

lowwintersun · 13/12/2019 04:48

Indy ref 2.Sad. Even I'm starting to think it might be better.

iano · 13/12/2019 04:51

Thanks for starting this thread. I didn't have much hope but this is worse than I thought it would be. I worry for my children's future. The 1930s were preventable too.

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 13/12/2019 04:51

Glad I found this thread, I’m absolutely gutted.

My “safe” seat has turned Blue over night, and there are highly deprived areas in this constituency, Foodbank use is at an all time high (I volunteer at the FB and see the numbers for myself).

I just don’t understand the logic.

user764329056 · 13/12/2019 04:54

StealthPussy, I agree with you, have been considering moving abroad for quite some time and now it’s become a lot more real

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 13/12/2019 05:05

Labour mp has lost his seat here after 22 years

It's all this get brexit done shit. Most of the people I know aren't going to like it when it bloody happens
