It looks a very impressive place to stay, the website looks great and is easy to use. The mix of watersports and childcare would mean this is an absolute winner for us. Would love to visit greece with the family - we've never been before - MW sounds great!

Marmite27 · 06/03/2019 13:16

My 3 year old part fish pre-schooler would be swimming and her baby sister would be over awed by going on an airplane

Kilpitlees · 06/03/2019 13:16

The resort looks amazing and perfect for our family.
My son (13) would love all the sports activities. He is a tennis player and would definitely try his hand at all the water sports. The Kids club for his age group looks as though they encourage a bit of independence which is great for that early teen age group.
My daughter (7) would love the kids club for making friends! Sometimes big brother is not up for playing the games she would be interested in! She would love the arts and crafts but could be encouraged to join in the sports activities by the enthusiastic staff!
My partner could relive his early 20s sailing holiday to Greece and I would give the paddle boarding a try. Though there is the lure of relaxing with the beautiful mountain backdrop and the cocktail of the day!
Ohhh ... and the food ... Yum!

I would finally be getting back into a dinghy - I haven't sailed since I had kids and am dying to get back out there. It would be great to be able to give my children their first taste of sailing too, especially with someone else giving them expert tuition!

PurpleCrazyHorse · 06/03/2019 13:21

To be honest, both kids would be absolutely delighted, just to be at an airport, let alone be on a plane. I think the resort would probably tip them over the edge of excitement Grin

With a 4yo and nearly 10yo, I think we'd be up early and in the pool or on the beach. After the kids have chosen every item on the breakfast buffet (sorry, they probably won't eat it all), we'd utilise the childcare options so DH and I could relax by the pool, do a watersport or get our rather portly bodies to the gym. The 10yo is just learning to ride a bike so if the 4yo could be on the back, we would love to explore the resort a little on bikes. We live about 2.5hrs drive from the nearest sandy beach, so the kids would want to spend as much time as possible building sandcastles and playing in the sea.

We would definitely want to try the local dining options in Palaros. We don't usually holiday in resorts because we like to get out and about to explore the local area, so being able to dine externally some nights would be a real plus for us. Wondering what the 'high tea' is for younger children. It would be such a treat for them.

Other than that, it would be a different dining experience every evening before hopefully collapsing into bed with exhausted children.

We could also offer some more 'realistic' watersport photographs of DH and I mostly falling off! Grin

It looks amazing!! Having not yet had a family holiday since our DC arrived we would taking advantage of everything on offer and spending some quality time together.

Babygrey7 · 06/03/2019 13:42

This is like my dream holiday, I love tennis, swimming, the sea and Greece! It looks just right, not too industrial-sized, but beig enough to offer a decent pool, tennis courts and watersports.

Am now um-ing and ah-ing whether this kind of set up would work for teenagers aged 14 and 16

That age they are too old for kids club really, aren't they?

It's such a tricky age to find holidays for!

But anyway, the resort looks great and the only thing I'd wonder, from the images, is if there are enough loungers. And how it woudl work for the teens. I guess we could go kayaking etc as a family.

Also, are there Taverna's within walking distance for non-exclusive nights?

HumberElla · 06/03/2019 13:42

Amazing! We all love the water and spend much of our holidays every year either on it or in it. We would love the water sports and swimming in the sea, especially with our two younger children who adore the beach. We’d probably have fun in the pool later in the afternoon.
No lazing about for us though - too active!

UpToonGirl · 06/03/2019 13:48

Looks lovely.

We would probably spend a large amount of time in the pool but hopefully fitting in some tennis and cycling at cooler times of the day! My DH would love the watersports on offer.

67chevvyimpala · 06/03/2019 13:49

We love Greece! ❤

We last went in 2011 with my dad which was our last holiday with him before he died so we have very happy memories!❤

My kids would make full use of the pools and beach. We enjoy tennis too so I'm sure we would get a few games in :)

Spa!!! I love a spa! :) a massage after a hard day at the pool is perfect 😁

It would also be nice to do trips and see the resort.

Looks fabulous!

67chevvyimpala · 06/03/2019 13:51

(But I would not be doing aerobics!!!)
😂😂😂😂

mamaslave18 · 06/03/2019 13:51

Wow! This resort looks amazing. Exactly the kind of resort I have been looking for. We would definitely utilise the evening childcare for our 3 and 5 year old's so that we could relax and enjoy a meal and a drink in peace in the local village.

During the day we would spend time at the beach or swimming in the gorgeous pool. Our children would enjoy going out in a dinghy that's for sure.

YippieKayakOtherBuckets · 06/03/2019 13:54

What a beautiful place. DD would set up camp permanently on the beach; water baby DS would be at home in the pool; DH would go out cycling and I would work my way through my growing stack of books. Then we’d all eat our body weight in delicious Greek food 😊

Remembermyname · 06/03/2019 13:54

I'd love to go and let the children try great new activities such as kayaking and windsurfing, then spend time having fun on the beach together. In the evenings it would be great to have some time to have dinner together while the kids are having fun in the evening kids club

pisspants · 06/03/2019 13:55

well, where to start! I think we'd spend the first couple of days relaxing and just enjoying the weather and being by the pool. Then I think we'd have a couple of days doing something more active and would go for a cycle ride around the local area and probably try paddle boarding and kayaking. I would then hope the children might join the kids club for a half day so I can have a bit of time to relax and read a book but then we could spend the afternoon swimming or playing tennis.
The resort looks gorgeous and Greece is somewhere I would live to re visit as I have not been there since I was a teenager, which unfortunately is quite a long time ago now!

WhoNose21 · 06/03/2019 13:57

That looks amazing. We would spend our time in water, either swimming in the pool, Kayaking or scuba diving. None of us have been scuba diving so it would really make the holiday special!

SingCat · 06/03/2019 13:58

This will be our first summer with our newest family member - our second daughter is due next month! So, I'll be mostly feeding her, and running around after her big sister, who will be nearly 2, and I'm sure will want to spend most of her time in the pool as she's a real water baby. My 12-year old stepson will hopefully be enjoying playing with his sisters and getting to know them better, while also trying out as many water sports as he can - oh, and hopefully meeting some other kids his own age so his Dad gets a bit of a chance to relax, enjoy spending time with all his children, and celebrate his 50th in style!

GhostsToMonsoon · 06/03/2019 14:00

Swimming definitely, and cycling if it wasn't too hot. I'd love to go kayaking again - and scuba diving although I fear I have forgotten how to set all the equipment up.

Caselgarcia · 06/03/2019 14:00

Having two teenagers, it can be difficult choosing a holiday that both appeals to both parents and children. This resort fits the bill, there are activities we can do as a family ie. Cycling and kayaking. My daughter learnt to scuba dive at school in a swimming pool so would love the chance to do this again in the warm clear blue sea
My husband has always wanted to learn to sail to would love this activity.
Me, I like things a little more relaxing so would enjoy lounging by the pool with maybe a fitness class thrown in.

Loopylou6 · 06/03/2019 14:05

Looks beautiful, I bet it'll be very popular.
We would spend our time round the pool, and at the beach, we'd also love to explore the area and sample local cuisine :)

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 06/03/2019 14:09

What I would do... well I would be in absolute heaven on the basis that I wasn't having to worry about cooking or cleaning. That in itself would be enough for me! A buffet restaurant is ideal as it gives my two toddlers the opportunity to try lots of yummy new foods.

My husband would enjoy the peace and quiet when the kids are in the childcare centre.

And, most importantly, the kids - they would love the pool.

Penhaligon · 06/03/2019 14:14

Wow! This looks absolutely beautiful! With a young family, we'd be enjoying the pool and the beach all day and making the most of the entertainment in the evening! What a fab prize!

mumof2oneofeach · 06/03/2019 14:18

Oh wow! So much to choose from.

Husband - Will be road cycling most days! He will also spend (far too much) time Tweeting about his holiday to his 8,000 followers.

Son (7) - will be reluctantly going to childcare but will enjoy it despite protests to the opposite! When not in childcare they will be paddling and swimming on the beach and in the pool.

Daughter (4) - will be enjoying childcare and hoping that they sing and dance lots!

Me - I'll be paddle boarding most days (tried it a few years ago and it's fantastic). I will be also using the aerobic facilities as I need to get fitter and do some (any!) exercise. Plus swimming, I love swimming and swimming in open water is my favourite. I will also be sending out Tweets to my followers (only 800, rather less than my husband).

As a family we will enjoy the beach, swimming pools and the restaurants.

TheGirlWithGlassFeet · 06/03/2019 14:25

Wow it looks amazing. We would spend the week on the beach building sandcastles and playing in the sea and in the family pool. Would try out the childcare Centre too so we could have a bit of adult time and do some of the water sports.

Gotthetshirt23 · 06/03/2019 14:32

Looks fabulous!
I'd be diving and getting partner on a try dive or even open water referral
We'd both be into kayaking/ paddle boarding etc
Would love the chance to try it all Smile
