Morning all!

Looks beautiful!

DS would lurch around in the pool making me watch him do the same thing over and over again. I have sunglasses on so will be on my sunbed saying "Wow DS that's amazing!" but also secretly people watching, reading a book, and thinking about what I'll have for dinner Grin

HolidaysorBust · 06/03/2019 11:06

What a paradise! I love that there are so many activities for everyone. DH would be brushing up his sailing, I'd be scuba diving and SUPing, and our DC waterbabies would be quite literally in their element. We'd also enjoy exploring local villages and restaurants for lunch and introducing our DC to some Greek culture! Bliss.

FurryTurnipHead · 06/03/2019 11:09

I've never been tempted to go on resort holidays in the past, but now we have a. 7 year old I can see the appeal of having everything right on your doorstep. We'd love to do watersports as a family, we are all active and would love the range of activities. And I'd enjoy some time reading by the pool and eating Greek salads! The place looks fab.

Great to somewhere that has stuff for young teens....DS is 14 so could access all the watersports and WIFI :) ..DH has always fancied learning to sail and I would love to learn to paddleboard -
we would all really like to try sea kayaking, and a guided cycle trail would also be on the list for us all...we often get lost so this sounds great... I like the fact the resort is not far from the town so we can access local culture/restaurants etc as well ....but have a safe beautiful looking base and no hassle......a spa is also a lovely plus

sherlocked79 · 06/03/2019 11:14

It looks lovely. I like that there are different clubs for younger and older teens which would really suit my two girls. I'd like the spa and fitness classes, and we're all water babies so would all love the pool and maybe trying out some watersports.

Kirstyetjohn · 06/03/2019 11:15

This looks like a great family resort! We would love using the pool, the beach and most importantly the kids club!

KittyCrackers · 06/03/2019 11:15

What an absolutely stunning resort!

Our entire family is doing a PADI Open Water course this April, so we'd definitely make time for some scuba diving while there.

My youngest is in the Canoe Club at school so I'm sure she'd take GREAT pleasure in bossing the rest of us around in a kayak...

We would eat and drink to our hearts content - I think the range of food on offer would appeal to even my very fussy DS. It's also nice that you have the option of leaving the resort to visit the town for dinner if you want to - that would make a pleasant change.

As for the rest of the time, I'd send the kids and DH off to sample the all the other fabulous activities on offer, while I bagsy one of those stunning sunloungers and finally get some me-time! Bliss!

(PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME please!)

NeverTwerkNaked · 06/03/2019 11:16

Definitely the watersports and the pool- we all love any water based activities! I’d love to try wake boarding and I would love to introduce the children to windsurfing (they are already keen sailors)

Bez33 · 06/03/2019 11:18

Looks absolutely beautiful - my little ones would just like wondering along the beach, and I really like the sound of the traditional tavern for authentic food! And the pool looks stunning, it would be hard to get my kids out of it.

Might have to take the opportunity to thrash my husband at a game of tennis since there’s a kids club!

My husband would love the chance to try scuba diving, so it would be amazing to have a go at that.

shamelesshackney · 06/03/2019 11:20

First impressions is how contemporary it looks (in a good way). I love the activities and the child are options. Website is easy to navigate. Bedrooms are lovely and look bright and airy. Greece is beautiful and I've been a few times but I know the weather isn't always guaranteed so great to see lots of other activities available. I've never been on a package holiday as I've never really liked the idea of them but this looks wonderful and would take the stress out of trying to please everyone as they would all be catered for here.

UselessTrees · 06/03/2019 11:20

Wow, it looks absolutely beautiful.

We would definitely be trying out a bit of everything. I'd love to give windsurfing and kayaking a go and I know the DDs would be heading straight for the pool. DD2 and DH would love the tennis facilities, too.

I agree with the poster above who said they'd like more information on the local area. We've never visited Greece and would like to get out and about to explore.

Tillywhim · 06/03/2019 11:23

Wow, this resort looks amazing, and the area looks idyllic. The facilities look wonderful, and we would certainly enjoy the food!
My children would love the kids club and would probably want to spend all of their time either there, or in the swimming pool. My Dh and I would love the chance to try out new things, especially anything water related for me, so the sailing lessons, kayaks and SUP boarding sound amazing. I have never played tennis either so would really enjoy learning more about the sport. It seems like you would be spoilt for choice in this holiday, although the sun loungers by the pool also look very inviting!

YogaWannabe · 06/03/2019 11:23

Oh wow it looks incredible!

Me and DD would have an absolute blast, we’ve been saying for ages that I must get a bike so we can go for lovely cycles together now she’s confident, so this would be magnificent!

I’d have to try my hand at water sports as it’s something I used to really enjoy!

It would just be so nice to relax away from the stresses and strains of life!

AgnesNaismith · 06/03/2019 11:28

Looks like a lovely resort!

My family would take full advantage of relaxing in the sun, greek breakfasts are the best in the world so that is how each day would start! Following breakfast we would go straight to the beach, a little swim in the sea and maybe some paddle boarding or Kayaking before feeding DCs.

The children love making new friends so I'm sure would love to go to the kids club, whilst DH and I have some amazing greek food (yum feta salad and fish) and maybe a sneaky glass of wine on the beach - and a snooze.

Our eldest DD loves cycling so I would take her out for a bike ride and DH would make castles on the beach with DD2. We all love playing tennis so would definitely have a game or two on our holiday there too!

Finally we would absolutely go to any evening entertainment - the children love to dance so show off their moves at any given opportunity. I'm not sure if the on-site BBQ is on the beach but if so it is my idea of heaven!!

dippybird2 · 06/03/2019 11:30

Looks fantastic. We would definitely be relaxing around the pool or on the beach but also love experiencing a little of the food and culture of any country we visit.

Orangehandtowel · 06/03/2019 11:38

Looks soo good, set in what looks like a lush area and the perfect getaway.

I'd spend a lot of time relaxing and in the pool with the children. We are also explorers so will enjoy going on adventures.

Kids club would be fab too as itll allow dh and I to have some adult time

firefly101 · 06/03/2019 11:39

My husband and I would be sailing whilst the children made friends in mini club. He’d then rush off to do a bike ride whilst I chilled before picking the children up for high tea. They would want to go back to kids club to see their new friends, I’d sign up for Tipsy Tennis which is always good fun.
Can you tell we all love a Mark Warner holiday 😊?

BrieAndChilli · 06/03/2019 11:40

looks lovely but unfortunately as a family of 5 we cant do package holidays as they are ALWAYS catered for families of 4.
We like to wander off site and find local places to eat so i like the fact that this package gives you a couple of nights to do this (rather than having to pay for the full week so feeling like you have to eat onsite as not to waste your money)
would like more info in what the kids clubs actually entail.

AnnaNimmity · 06/03/2019 11:51

I may comment on this, but unfortunately it seems that, as a single parent, I'm not a family.

AngelsWithSilverWings · 06/03/2019 11:54

This resort looks amazing. Holidays for us are a time to drag our 13 year old away from his iPad and watch him and his 10 year old sister enjoy swimming and taking part in activities with us including watersports , boat trips and snorkelling. Holidays are so important to us as we always come back a much closer and happier family, especially when we have taken over in lots of fun activities together. This resort looks perfect for the type of holiday we enjoy.

katsucurry · 06/03/2019 11:56

It looks amazing. We'd spend a lot of time in the pool with the kids and I'm sure they'd live to try the water sports and kids clubs too. The restaurants look lovely so we'd make the most of that also

AnnaNimmity · 06/03/2019 12:00

So for me this looks amazing (I have been on a Mark Warner many years ago with my older children and then husband!). I'd go alone with my 2 younger children (aged 6 and 10).

My children are real water babies and love to sail and kayak and paddleboard. As a single parent, I'd love to spend quality time with them away from the mundanities of life here, give them and me the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and just relax together. for me it's not about putting them into clubs, but we are an active family and want to do lots! Watersports, swimming, tennis and exploring the area would be brilliant. And i know the social side is very good too, so if I get some adult conversation, all the better.

Thanks

Mrsjayneylane · 06/03/2019 12:07

As a family, we'd all love the pool. Our daughter is currently having swimming lessons, so I know she would enjoy showing off her skills. Her little brother would also love splashing about too. My husband, who enjoys sporting activities, would certainly give the water sports a go and probably the cycling too. I'd happily just have fun watching everyone enjoy them selves, and of course a cocktail or two. The photos look gorgeous! If I won I would enjoy having some quality family time. Fingers crossed!

TrySinging · 06/03/2019 12:15

Sounds ace! I would love to try the sailing and windsurfing with tuition. I would also make use of the spa! The DC would be playing tennis and mountain biking. The littlest one would be hanging out with DH in the pool. Dreamy...

SurgeHopper · 06/03/2019 12:18

Well I'd hope the kids would make the most of the high tea whilst I relax at a yoga class. Definitely be taking advantage of direct flights from Heathrow!
