We'd all love to try waterskiing - looks like great fun - and we'd have plenty of time to relax by the pool and take advantage of that too. We all love the water so the resort looks ideal!

sanitygirl · 06/03/2019 14:49

It looks stunning. My kids are very active so would no doubt want to try out all the different watersports - I would be more inclined to relax by the pool but wouldn't be averse to a bit of paddle boarding and kayaking!

Flippidyflap · 06/03/2019 14:53

I love exploring new areas and would enjoy time in the hotel complex as well as the local sites. I’d be making use of every single facility at the hotel - it looks amazing! I’d also quite like a go at the private waterskiing so would be booking that up too. In fact, I think we could work out a the perfect rota to ensure we got the right balance of lounging by the pool, enjoying the activities and spending quality family time together.

We would love the chance to see what all the fuss is about :-)

Looking at the website, it looks like it is the type of destination that would be stunning in all seasons. I really liked how the manager described the mountain views; I would love a chance for my family to experience a sunset there.

My children have just completed an intensive swimming course that they loved. I know they would be super eager to access all the water based sports, particularly wakeboarding. Dh is a real foody so would be in his element trying all the delicious cuisine and I would be happy just to get a little time to myself- the spa would be my first port of call!

It really does look like the perfect destination for families who want that balance of relaxation and trying new things. A great opportunity for a lucky family x

Slatkater · 06/03/2019 14:58

Looks beautiful, plenty to do to keep everyone happy. I would be loafing on a sunbed reading, daughter would be trying out the watersports and other half would enjoy the beach.

Redyoyo · 06/03/2019 14:58

We would be teaching dds how to swim in the amazing pools, putting them in to kids club so me and dh could chill and then maybe do some watersports .

Ktay · 06/03/2019 15:08

This looks lovely! I’m sure DH and DD2 would do lots of sailing and maybe a bit of tennis. I might venture from the poolside/spa for a sailing lesson to see what the fuss is about! Would also enjoy exploring the local area. DD1 would probably spend her time swimming and at kids’ club.

Kannet · 06/03/2019 15:11

Wow looks beautiful. We would mainly be splashing in the pool and maybe taking some walks

AgeBeforeBeauty · 06/03/2019 15:13

This looks like the epitome of relaxation ... as much as you can get with small children :)

A typical day would probably start with some local exploration on the bikes, playing a game of tennis late morning, and then cooling down in the pool after lunch. We would try some of the watersports activities in the afternoon, may be have a siesta, and then dinner and enjoy the evening entertainment on offer!

Most days would be similar, although we would spend some time on the beach too, and try the different cuisines on offer. Looks idyllic!

WeevilKnievel · 06/03/2019 15:41

We've never tried Mark Warner, but have always wanted to!
I would partake in a few fitness classes, maybe some yoga, lots of swimming.
DH would scuba dive, play tennis and volleyball
DD would read her book and tryout some watersports.
DS would love the kids club! and would love to have a go at sailing and tennis!
Hopefully we would all relax, and enjoy time together 😊

BristolMum96 · 06/03/2019 15:47

Definitely lots of pool time with my water loving 1 year old, and she will be nearly 2 in summer and have lots of energy to burn off with activities

purpleleotard · 06/03/2019 15:47

Hello Mark Warner
A most inviting advert that makes me thing of the upcoming summer holiday.
Perhaps I could ask about the transfer times, 30 mins on one part of the advert, 40 mins on another.
Is there any veggie options available at the restaurants?
As one of our family is disabled, What facilities are there? Flat access, adapted bathrooms, beach access?
I most certainly would be out on a bike, perhaps the photo of road bikes is not the same at the mountain bikes you have available.
Are the sailing instructors qualified? And do you have the necessary safety procedures in place?
Lovely place for a holiday.

Missfreckles · 06/03/2019 15:59

Ohhhh this would be amazing! I am definitely one of those lazy chill by the pool people! I love getting lost in a book whilst on holiday although now with two children I'm not sure it would be so easy to just do that. It looks amazing though and I'm sure as a family we would find a perfect balance of lazy and active!

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 06/03/2019 16:08

Definitely kayaking! DS is a big fan of kayaking and would be thrilled to do it on the sea. He'd also love to have a go at the other watersports and I quite fancy having a go at sailing too.
We'd all be up for a bit of mountain biking - looks like a lovely way to explore.

Lifeofa · 06/03/2019 16:19

This would be a dream holiday, DD1 and DH could go paddle boarding, DD2 has always wanted to go to a kids club on holiday and I’d be by the pool with my kindle and a cocktail and prepare to hear what they had been up to. I really like the idea of just have 5 evening meals included, if we eat in the same place every night it can feel very restrictive and a waste of opportunity of seeing the location we are in but the half board option helps you know how much the holiday will be and gives options I hopes others follow this pattern.

DownRightAmazing · 06/03/2019 16:24

Well that's an awesome prize Mumsnet! Have to say the resort is right up our street - our family loves Mediterranean food, I hope the restaurant employs Greek chefs and lets them cook local cuisine. The family rooms sound great, the suites even better :)

My family would enjoy cycling if there were suitable seats for the kiddies. My 6 year old loves a few hours at a kids club, my 3 year old has never been to one but she is now attending nursery and so this might be the year? All four of us love swimming and playing in the water, both kids love the beach and will play for hours in the sand. DH and I both scuba dive and we would love to have a go at some water sports.

Basically we would do it all 😁

mutinyonthebunty · 06/03/2019 16:26

It looks beautiful. My husband is a runner and cyclist so he would be happy doing that daily, the kids would love the clubs and I would like to keep up my fitness as I've just lost some weight so it would be great to take part in the classes and swim in that beautiful pool 😍. We have done a couple of holidays with similar activity companies so it would be good to compare!

TrueFriendsStabYouInTheFront · 06/03/2019 16:26

I'm not sure I'd be able to get our DC away from the pools! They look stunning! Crossing fingers and toes for this one!!

caffeinebuzz · 06/03/2019 16:31

Looks great! I'd enjoy watersports in the morning and then pool with DD (2) in afternoons!

LauraAshleySofa · 06/03/2019 16:35

This would be our perfect something for everyone holiday. DH would be windsurfing and having a go at all the watersports on offer, DD(6) would be in kids club and also trying to get out on the water, she has no fear and has already developed a love of windsurfing. DS (9) would be playing tennis with me and his new found holiday friends because he makes friends wherever we go. I would be relaxing by the pool and doing my own peaceful yoga practice early each morning. I would have to try a downward dog pose on a SUP just to see if I could do it... before inevitably falling into the sea. Bliss.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 06/03/2019 16:37

Explore the mountains, try water sports, play with the kids in the sea. Looks amazing!

SmithyDarlingLetsDoShots · 06/03/2019 16:37

Wow 😍 looks amazing! We'd definitely be cycling in the mornings whilst its cooler and maybe try the water sports during the day. It looks like it has everything needed for a perfect holiday!

GregoryPeckingDuck · 06/03/2019 16:42

Well the children would be going straight into childcare club while DH and I make for the spa.

massistar · 06/03/2019 16:48

My super active kids and husband would be all over the watersports and cycling whilst I lounged by the pool, cocktail in one hand and a good trashy novel in the other.

FindPrimeLorca · 06/03/2019 16:49

We’d spend the first day reading on a sunlounger by the pool to recharge our batteries then hit the beach, the dinghies and the kayaks. We’ve never been to Greece before so taking advantage of the Ionian Sea, the beach, the landscape and visits to the local town would be high on our list of priorities.

My DC are teenagers so it’s good to see that the MW resorts don’t just revolve around younger children who need babysitting - but have a more flexible offer for older children who’ll rotate between chilling on their own, spending time with parents, and joining in the organised activities and getting to know the other teens.
