We'd all be using the pool and getting out on bikes. The kids could make great use of the kids club while DH and I had a go at Sup! Mostly would just be lovely to have some time together in the sun, especially now the snow has arrived at home.

Tolivewhere19 · 10/03/2019 23:45

Paleros Beach Resort looks amazing! We have had quite a stressful start to 2019 so would love somewhere to go and relax. I'd love to relax by the pool and on the beach watching the sun go down while the kids have fun playing in the sand. We are sporty so we'd also try out the cycling, tennis, swimming and watersports. We've never been to Greece and would explore more of the local area. It would be a dream come true to win this.

HettyPain · 10/03/2019 23:54

Wow, this place looks amazing. I have no doubt we'd be making the most of the activities, starting with cycling and kayaking, then sampling the other sports on offer! Would definitely spend some time in the pool too Smile

Looks fab, pool and watersports would be the focus! We all love kayaking, the eldest and I would love to try paddle boarding and my husband has always wanted to scuba dive. Otherwise, we’d love to get out and explore the surrounding area, we haven’t been to Greece since the kids and we’ve missed it. Hopefully there would be a riding stables within a reasonable distance, we try to ride in whatever countries we visit- best way to sightsee Smile

Livingthedream12345 · 11/03/2019 06:38

We'd be not sitting down much by the look of it Grin

Captaindobbin · 11/03/2019 06:41

Looks amazing. Kids would be in the pool all day and just enjoying the sunshine.

Imisscheese · 11/03/2019 06:50

The resort looks beautiful. We love to split or time between the pool and the sea. My 4 year old would really enjoy the kids club, and we'd definitely all like to try some watersports.

It would be great to start teaching our son to sail in such idyllic surroundings!

lovelilies · 11/03/2019 19:35

Am I watching the same video?? The resort looks OK... boring pool areas, nothing for little ones (slides etc). Whole thing looks ver 'standard' and I don't know what sets it apart from every other 2* resort ?
Sorry 😐

WreckTangled · 11/03/2019 19:43

Wow it looks fantastic!

Both my dc can swim now so it would be really great to get them to try kayaking. Dd has mobility issues and can't find a bike yet but hoping she will get there this summer as family bike rides are also something we would love to do. I would most likely be relaxing by the pool whilst dh runs around with the dc! The kids club looks fantastic though so maybe there would be an opportunity for us to actually relax together for once...!

pinkmagic1 · 11/03/2019 20:14

Looks wonderful. Fantastic for families of all ages, even teenagers wouldn't get bored here!
We would spend a lot of time chilling by the pool and on the beach, before enjoying leisurely evening meals together.
One of my favourite things is swimming in the sea but I don't get chance to do it often so the fact this hotel is on the beach is ideal. Also my 14 year old son has always wanted to try sailing, so we could have great fun learning together.
Hopefully my two would make friends and enjoy trying new sports and having fun in the Kidz and Indy clubs.

RightOcciputAnterior · 12/03/2019 09:56

Looks beautiful. I've never been to Greece, and nor has DH, so I imagine we'd spend a fair amount of time away from the resort exploring. While on site, I'd be keen to brush up on my tennis skills, while DH would no doubt want to learn to sail with his 12-year-old daughter! I imagine we'd take advantage of the Baby Club and kids' club so DH and I could have some time to ourselves, too.

fumingbird · 12/03/2019 10:18

The resort looks fantastic, enhanced by a stunning location! I think we would take advantage of the chance to enjoy the water with SUP boarding and wakeboarding, my youngest would love the pools and beach, I would do some exploring on a bicycle and watch the sun set with a glass of wine Grin

BloodyBosch · 12/03/2019 11:11

I've never been to Greece, it's on the bucket list. My husband and son love snorkelling and watersports so would be right at home. I love photography so would spend quite a lot of time on that, especially the sunsets.
The resort looks pleasant and the rooms look comfortable. To share an actual opinion I would need to visit Grin however it has me dreaming of a week of sunshine and peace.

TowandaForever · 12/03/2019 16:08

Hello Wall. It's me Shirley Valentine!

Shirley Valentine is one of my favourite films and I have wanted to go to Greece since I saw it. I would love to recreate the scene from the film where Shirley sits on the beach watching the sun set whilst I looked at the Lonian sea.

In the film Shirley Valentine says "I used to be The Mother. I used to be The Wife. But now I'm Shirley Valentine again". This mirrors my life and I am enjoying finding out who I am again. The resort would be perfect for this. I could try so many new things like the different water sports on offer and exploring the area on mountain bikes.

Shirley Valentine says "I have allowed myself to lead this little life, when inside me there was so much more. And it's all gone unused. And now it never will be. Why do we get all this life if we don't ever use it? Why do we get all these feelings and dreams and hopes if we don't ever use them?". Shirley rediscovers and reenergises herself with her holiday to Greece. I would love to do the same at this beautiful resort.

TweetleBeetlesBattle · 12/03/2019 19:59

That's a lot of really lovely things to choose from. I'd want to use the kids club for the start whilst relaxing at the pool, then go for the paddle boarding and kayaking. Yoga, cycling and then fall into the spa to be fixed. Really looks beautiful there.

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 13/03/2019 09:00

Looks like a lovely resort with lots of activities to try and also a nice pool and green areas for relaxing.

Our son is 5 and can ride a bike now so we would do a family bike ride and try some watersports such as kayaking. Our son would love the kids club so he could go there while we try waterskiing and scuba diving, which we used to do but haven’t done for years.

Obviously we’d make good use of the pool as well. I like to pretend it’s because of our son that I spend so much time playing in the pool but really it’s because I love being in the water!

Looks like a really good resort to suit both children and adults, with a nice balance of activities and relaxing.

Nomorerainplease · 13/03/2019 09:13

Oh my goodness this looks beautiful. We are a really active family with sporty pre teen children. We would all love to give waterskiing a try (we are keen snow skiers), love stand up paddleboarding and would definitely enjoy tennis. We usually self cater so to have that hassle taken away would be incredible. Have often thought about trying Mark Warner.
I am good at making little videos set to music and would happily make one of this holiday for you to use as a promotion!

mooftoon · 13/03/2019 09:34

My boys would love splashing in the pools!

wineymummy · 13/03/2019 09:37

I worked as a kids club/sailing instructor at a Greek resort in my twenties and had the summer of my life. I would love to go back now with my husband and daughter and experience life on 'the other side'! We would all really enjoy sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing and hopefully banana boating! As well as some much needed sunshine.

wrapsuperstar · 13/03/2019 09:38

I honestly think our two DDs would be just so bowled over by the surroundings and swimming options that it’d be all we did — what an opportunity though!

KnobJockey · 13/03/2019 13:09

Wow, we would love this! I'm currently pregnant, so I would happily laze around a pool while teenage DD tries some watersports and DP goes off exploring, before coming back to enjoy some family time and luscious Greek food together.

DarklyDreamingDexter · 13/03/2019 17:21

There once was a woman from Berkshire
Who was fed up with Brexit - it narked her!

"What will give me some peace,
Is fab trip to Greece,
It's something I constantly ask for!"

Then along came Mumsnet and Mark Warner,
With the chance of a win to transform her!

An amazing Greek prize,
Clear seas and blue skies,
That's just what the doctor would order!

There's so much at this place to discover,
For a gym babe and water sports lover.

A bike trip or two,
A room with a view,
Would be be perfect to help her recover!

So please Mumsnet Towers hear this plea:
"When you're choosing a winner, PICK ME!"

"I yearn to escape,
So please help reshape,
The dreams of this weary young mother!"

HannahGMumsnet · 14/03/2019 12:30

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to enter. We have chosen a winner at random, and congratulations to one of our Instagram entrants fleaing!

For those of you who didn't win this time, Mark Warner have upped the exclusive Mumsnetter discount to 7% until the 22nd March (it's not quite a free holiday, but Mark Warner didn't have 350 of those to spare Grin)
