Morning all!

This summer, they're opening the brand new Paleros Beach Resort on the western coast of Greece, and they're giving one lucky Mumsnetter the chance to go and see what all the fuss is about.

Thanks to everyone who entered - this competition is now closed.

If you missed out this time, Mark Warner have increased their exclusive Mumsnetter discount to 7% until Friday 22 March (simply quote Mumsnet when you book, if you didn't already know).

Plus, if you book before Friday, you can combine the 7% discount with a Mark Warner sun holiday special offer and save up to £200pp on top.

Discount reverts to 5% after Friday 22 March.

It looks amazing. We'd be up for trying everything! Cycling, tennis, water sports and rounded off with lots of swimming to cool off. Would be a dream holiday!

MyMiddleNameIsLaura · 06/03/2019 23:18

I think we’d start off by waking super early on the first day - the three year old would help with that. We’d eat breakfast, relax by the pool, play on the beach and gradually find ourselves relaxing into the new pace of life.
And the week would slide away with time spent together (and separately!) enjoying the gorgeous surroundings, eating, drinking, playing and finding time to reconnect as a family.
And what a week it would be... unforgettable!

cupidandpsyche · 06/03/2019 23:19

We would be lazing by the pool, swimming, enjoying the sun and DH and DS would be sailing......looks gorgeous!

That looks fabulous!

We'd love to try paddle boarding and scuba diving, but the kids would just so excited just playing in the pool having fun.

mamalovebird · 06/03/2019 23:30

Hell yes! As we spend most of our time at the side of a football pitch, it'd be fab to get the kids trying watersports.... not really the weather for it in Blighty!

Those pools look too good not to spend considerable time in Smile

Dontletthebastardsgrindyoudown · 06/03/2019 23:32

I'm already day dreaming of it Wine

We'd start the day with a lovely fresh juice and pastries, then off for a swim. Spend time trying to teach my youngest how to swim, and just having fun. Then we'd hopefully try out some activities, maybe kids club for little ones and wake-boarding for us. Mix in some lunch with ice cream cocktails in the sun, and then most likely a little nap.

Ending with a bbq sampling some lovely Greek foods and a walk to enjoy the warm nights!

SorryAuntLydia · 06/03/2019 23:35

What a lovely resort. Personally I’d like to just relax on the beach and swim in the sea, enjoy the food, maybe relocate to the pool at some point - and just properly relax. My DH would take his level 2 sailing qualification and also do some mountain biking. My DS would probably try the teens club and would be keen to do more scuba diving (possibly with DH), sailing and kayaking. DD would definitely join her kids club to meet friends and do sports together in the morning. And we’d all meet up for a long relaxed evening together.

GloGirl · 06/03/2019 23:35

You had me at childcare club...

I've got two boys aged between 4 and 6 - A resort that could balance their needs of play, sun and the pool - with our needs to rest and relax really us the dream Star

walkingtheplank · 06/03/2019 23:37

Oh Goodness, that looks lovely.
So many activities for all of us to enjoy. Son loves tennis, daughter loves swimming. I've always fancied waterskiing. I wonder if I could persuade husband to wakeboard!! It would be great to see if we could have a paddle boarding session together.
The dining arrangements look great - it's not a holiday if you have to cook. And we've never been to Greece so that would be a wonderful new experience.

Steeve · 06/03/2019 23:44

Getting out into the local community and culture, experiencing the food, and trips to phenomenal areas and sights.

Also enjoying the hotel, food, and sitting outside with a cold beer/cocktail or three hundred experiencing sunset into night, feeling the love of DP and DD/DS around me :)

(I'd love to go clubbing, but I'm too old and have mobility problems SadAngryEnvySad)

confusednorthner · 06/03/2019 23:45

That looks amazing! My two would be trying out every watersport or in pool whole time!

newlyfrugal · 06/03/2019 23:46

I'd be hoping I'd get a tan and a sleep. We'd be eating lovely food and the children would be constantly in a pool. Absolutely delightful being on holiday. Utter bliss!

torthecatlady · 06/03/2019 23:55

I love that's everything's on your doorstep with a resort. We'd use the restaurants, pools and kids club. I would definitely like to try out the scuba diving too! This would be amazing!

flowerbombVR · 06/03/2019 23:56

This resort looks amazing, I hadn't heard of Mark Warner holidays before but this type of holiday would be perfect for us!
We would love to explore Greece and would be checking out the historic sites

Kids would love the swimming pools. And we would all love sam0ling the cuisine.

All in all we would be blown away by it...

JakeBallardswife · 07/03/2019 00:05

Looks amazing! We’d go scuba diving, great the resort has this. Try out sailing & kayaking and cycling too. Also maybe some tennis if time. Restaurants look great, we’d also hopefully have time for a relax by the pools!

ILoveCrunchyAutumnLeaves · 07/03/2019 00:25

We would be cycling, playing tennis & having fun on the beach. I could luxuriously lounge at the pool or on the beach whilst the kids are amused at the holiday club meaning everyone is happy 👌

Minnie747 · 07/03/2019 00:50

Some adults only social dining sounds wonderful! Would love to do some cycling too, get out and explore the locality. Mainly to find a local taverna to while away the hours....

Eminybob · 07/03/2019 01:29

Looks amazing!
My 4 year old loves the beach so we would spend a lot of time there building sandcastles and swimming in the sea. He may be a bit young for the water sports this time, but it’s something that I think he’d love in the future.
The report looks like it has lots of shady areas that I can relax in with baby DS to keep us away from the sun, and lovely calm pools to give him his first taste of swimming.
I love the fact that there are clubs and childcare for the DC right from baby age, so maybe DH and I would finally get some alone time for the dust time in 4 years!

magpieC · 07/03/2019 01:49

Looks like another fabulous MW resort! We'd definitely take part in some tennis coaching. DP would enjoy some competitive volleyball and I'd see if I can remember how not to capsize a laser (maybe making use of some refresher training!)

The DC are at an age where the kids club would be a great opportunity for them to try out some new activities in and around the water as well as just playing in the pool and spending some time as a family.

Topped off with some great food - a mix of dining together and taking advantage of evening childcare to have some quality adult conversation too.

Perfect!

BlueWonder · 07/03/2019 03:05

Never been on a package holiday, nor abroad with DC since tiny. Now teens, so I think the first thing we would all do is head for those loungers and marvel at the scene! After a little absolute relaxation, it would be time for the pool, cycling and tennis for the DC and planning an inland boat trip to Lefkada. I've always wanted to try paddle boarding so I'm sure that would be next with kayaking to follow. Beginning every day with leisurely outdoor breakfast of fresh fruit, sunshine and the promise of time and fun together (and the odd escape with a book for me)!

BlueWonder · 07/03/2019 03:06

not 'inland' boat trip, just a boat trip.....phone is inventing things!

Nancy74 · 07/03/2019 06:27

We'd have a go at all the activities, eat too much and sleep alot. Sounds great.

MonaChopsis · 07/03/2019 06:30

This looks amazing! We would love to sail, kayak and paddle board... On or in the water is our favourite place to be!

Halmo · 07/03/2019 07:02

It looks amazing! We’d be cycling, swimming and on the beach. I’d love to try some water sports whilst the little ones were in kids club.

MarshaBradyo · 07/03/2019 07:06

Lie around on the beach, around the pool, kayaking and cycling
