Just noticed! The thread is nearly full! Is there going to be another one, or has the bus reached its destination?

doorstomanualplease · 10/01/2019 22:18

Could the bus have arrived at the airport so we can all go to New Zealand together? That would be so much fun!! Flowers

I'm still here Seafour I've just been struggling with horrendous morning sickness. I've got another scan tomorrow and a drs appointment to try and get some anti sickness medicine (I suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum in my pregnancies so like to get the ball rolling early to avoid hospitalisation). My dr was really nice in my last pregnancy (and so dismayed for me when I miscarried, it was very sweet really) so I've got high hopes of getting what I need.

You're still in my thoughts and prayers. Xxxx

Seafour · 10/01/2019 23:54

Applesin you poor thing, I've no experience of HG but I can only imagine how distressing it must be, so glad that you have a supportive GP and you and your precious pip remain in my prayers too. I've sent you a PM Thanks

Ok if you don't like this thread leave it, if you don't like it and don't leave, be kind, don't leave underhand unkind nodding to each other comments, there is no need. Play nicely or not at all. I am enjoying this thread please don't spoil it

doorstomanualplease · 11/01/2019 07:51

How is your PA support now c4? Has the new carer improved? Is FabPA any better? You must miss her ever so much

'Ok if you don't like this thread leave it, if you don't like it and don't leave, be kind, don't leave underhand unkind nodding to each other comments'

I agree. I haven't commented for a few days. I initially posted to reassure the op that she mustn't always think she is critically ill. It is understandable why after many medical problems someone gets stuck in the frame of mind that everything is 'critical' but that won't always be the case. As I said expecting a gp to visit rather than nurses will ramp up the ops anxiety, or panicking that she is dependent on suction when without a trachy she won't be. Anyway I didn't seem to be reassuring her so I've backed off.

All the goading troll hunting posts are really unpleasant. Now the op has stopped making derogatory comments about hcps can't you just leave her to whatever embellishments she may or may not be making? It is so distasteful to have long running threads on another forum discussing this at length with posters running between the 2 sites and reporting back.

Just leave the op to it.

Nacknick · 11/01/2019 13:01

Feeling tired and cold today but hoping that's because I did quite a lot yesterday and because it IS cold rather than the start of anything more sinister...
The plan is to make the hill walk a regular event as well as some other exercise. So I've booked a slot in my calendar for the next couple of months and will see how I get on with that.
Hope everyone else is ok, especially Applesin with your precious little bean.

MNHQ are following guidelines by deleting posts and banning posters. Their site, their choices. However, with regards to the other site, it’s tough, I’m afraid. These days, many people put themselves ‘out there’ on the internet in the way of forums, blogs and YouTube videos etc. By doing that, you are opening yourself up to comments and criticism. I have complex health problems and a friend suggsted I start a blog but I’m shy and I couldn’t handle any type of negative feedback. I can’t handle the heat, so I stay out of the kitchen. If you court online attention, there is always a risk of backlash. People need to keep safe online, look after their emotional well-being and to stop posting if it upsets them.

@Seafour I wish you all the best, I really do. If you want to keep things more private, I know there are sites where you can make private blogs and only invite those who you know and trust. Take care.

Seafour · 11/01/2019 19:22

Nacknick I've stayed inside today too, you will ace that hill.

I've had a lovely morning with youngest grandson and his mum, a visit from the respiratory physio's to help with assisted coughing. Exdil and 2 dgc came after school for a shower as their bathroom is being refitted and dd and her dp are back from their conference. DH has been feeling better today so has been to see mil. Waved youngest dsc off for return to university.

movie night planned.
