Feeling nosey! I was on another thread where the OP had £600 to spend on an engagement ring and the first comment was how it was a lot of money and was she sure she wanted to spend that much.

£800

Mine was an antique one so not valuable in the same way a modern one is but I still love it after all these years. A friend who just got engaged is rocking a $16k one. It is ginormous in every way. OH laughed and said changing a nappy when the time comes will be a challenge wearing that.

Namechanger1776 · 24/09/2018 22:42

It was £1650 and the most expensive item I own along with the matching wedding ring. I paid for the wedding ring though took me 18 months to pay it off!

Dowser · 24/09/2018 22:44

Mine is platinum too and made by a local jewellerthere isn’t another one like it I love it still...7 years later...and being platinum you don’t have to have it re p,aged like you do with white gold.

TokyoSushi · 24/09/2018 22:44

£1000

TomHardysNextWife · 24/09/2018 22:44

£500 and that was 27 years ago. Diamond solitaire.

austenozzy · 24/09/2018 22:45

I had DW’s platinum rings made at cost by a friend of a friend on Hatton garden. Matching bands, with engagement ring’s diamonds in a pattern she requested. £6k’s worth for about £1400.

Winchester89 · 24/09/2018 22:46

£2200. It's perfect Smile

yummyeclair · 24/09/2018 22:46

Haven't a clue but DH chose it as a surprise so invaluable to me!

mistermagpie · 24/09/2018 22:46

Mine was just over £2000.

welshweasel · 24/09/2018 22:46

£2500, matching wedding ring was £1000. DH had a larger budget but I love my ring and genuinely didn’t want anything bigger.

CarriesNecklace · 24/09/2018 22:47

I think about £10k Blush

DaisyLand · 24/09/2018 22:47

£0. I refused to have one

Fluffyears · 24/09/2018 22:47

@dowser that is why I stipulated platinum as I don’t want to have to replate it.

YolandiFuckinVisser · 24/09/2018 22:47

£25

BackforGood · 24/09/2018 22:48

About £40. I wear it every day. I love it. We are about to celebrate our Silver wedding Smile

WhatsGoingOnEh · 24/09/2018 22:49

I don't think it was much. About £500, maybe? 😆

My wedding ring was £250. It's a second-hand half-eternity ring that we bought in The Lanes. I absolutely love the two of them together. I had them soldered just before the wedding as I knew I'd be driven mad if they didn't line up perfectly. So they always look just right. Sigh.

Xiaoxiong · 24/09/2018 22:50

£150, an antique. It's perfect and I love it.

FoodGloriousFud · 24/09/2018 22:50

@CarriesNecklace Oh wow what's it like? Mine was 4k and it gets a lot of comments, yours must be amazing.

ChristmasArmadillo · 24/09/2018 22:50

3k. I love it and have never taken it off, worth every bit.

tigercub50 · 24/09/2018 22:51

£350 & I absolutely love it. Unusual Kenyan sapphire. I was really sad when the shop where we got it closed down 😞
