I’m sure I read somewhere that the weekend before the con party leadership nominations had to be in that something happened that made Gove realise that Boris should never be PM, so he put himself forward knowing that he would never be elected but then Boris wouldn’t either... taking one for the team if you want... i have always wondered what boris was up to but maybe this is it.
