What made you decide to start this thread?

When did you realise you were gay? Did you ever have a relationship with a man? Is it true there is always a butch lesbian and a more feminine one? Why do some lesbians dress to masculine?

Met a woman I liked and that was it, never looked back. Have never had any relationship of any significance with a man.no that’s not true. And some lesbians like dressing that way I guess 🤷

Thanks for answering, but it’s a common way of dressing for some lesbians - very masculine. It’s not just some. I’ve found the lesbians I have known have all been on the butch side.

I’ve been out in gay clubs as a straight woman and found gay women very aggressive in their pursuing of me!!

I did struggle yes, I was around 20. My parents were very supportive but most others were. Struggled mostly with getting my head round it myself

I’d say it’s less common with the lesbians I know, but we are all 40s now so more dressing for comfort than anything (myself at least). I’m not very masculine
