I think I love David Mitchell. Look at this article he wrote on pole dancing in the Cambridge Union

David Mitchell wasn't above using 'spazz' as an insult on Mock the Week

but he wasn't using it to insult a disabled person, was he?

so he may not a friend to the PC-brigade, but not, perhaps, a twat?

What an unnecessarily, long winded and pompous way to say something so simple.

I loved his performance in Peep Show but thought that the Mitchell and Webb shows were lame.

IMO he's a bit of a media tart, he's everywhere and increasingly finding his way onto third rate shows which someone of his potential calibre shouldn't set foot near - The Bubble being a case in point.

He also sells his arse to the advertisers which (in the words of the late, great Bill Hicks) strikes him forever from the artistic roll call.

i especially liked where he says -

PC gone mad" is a long way from power ? it's still a minority party compared to "chauvinism gone senile".

very funny, and very true...

although i think pole dancing isn't necessarily any more degrading than dacing the waltz - the circumstances you do it in are important - woman pole dancers for her OH (before he finds some way to return the compliment)- not exploitative - prostitute waltzes with paying date - exploitative....

i don't think i commented on the 'sarah browns' feets thread on here, because it just shouldn't have been started....agree with DMitch 100% on that

I agree, great writing. But, folks, this thing about him being sexy or not. Isn't it a bit ironic - are we not reducing ourselves to the level of those who write about Sarah Brown's feet? It's not really relevant, is it?
