Oxfordshire school girls in petition to ban school uniforms in porn

The girls, who are all part of the Little Feminist Bookclub (LFB) of the Cooper School, are calling on prime minister Andy Burnham to institute a ban of school uniform in pornography.

The petition was launched by the Bicester pupils earlier this week and - as of Friday, September 25 - has over 900 signatures.

The group cites Professor Clare McGlynn at Durham University, a leading campaigner on reform of porn laws, who said this form of pornographic content is "ruining" the lives of young teenage girls every day.

Speculation, but school uniform itself is more of a thing in the UK than anywhere else, I think, so it seems reasonable to suspect that most of the pornographers using it will also be based in the UK, and aiming at UK customers. Doubt it'll go anywhere, but worth encouraging, I think.

I think you will find many countries still have school uniform. Japan for instance where the sexualisation of young girls via a whole cartoon industry that fetishises young girls. Isn't if the origin of anime?

And as the PM of the UK, along with other countries that are trying to crack down on the pornification of social media, and other media, he can input at that level.
