Sandie Peggie: ‘My nursing union is blinded by trans activists’

Peggie’s claim hinges on the alleged failure of her union to advise her that she had legitimate grounds for a legal claim against her employer while she was suspended, and the RCN’s refusal to provide formal legal assistance when she made a secondary claim against NHS Fife over their handling of her disciplinary case.

“They’ve been so unsupportive,” she said. “Right from the very start, I’ve not had any support at all from the RCN. They’re blinded by trans activists just now.”

Separately, the union has faced criticism from campaigners and politicians who accuse the organisation of failing to support staff who object to trans-inclusive policies at work.

Only one of Sandie's colleagues testified against her. Her other colleagues support her but are terrified of speaking up and losing their jobs. That's how toxic their work environment is thanks to trans ideology.

Upton admitted in court that he kept notes on the nurses who politely waited outside the changing room so they could undress after he left. He was spoiling for a fight right from the start. He was angry that they wouldn't validate him by taking their clothes off for him.

He, in the privileged position that he was in over her, decided that it was his right to compel her to get changed in front of him in the nurse's changing room. There is no indication of why he didn't choose to get changed in the doctor's as other doctors did. When she refused, as was her right, he told lies about her, including that she put a patient in danger and later attempted to frame her with retrospective 'reports' of incidents he claimed happened (these weren't accepted by the judge afaik). Dr Upton is, as far as I am concerned, an abusive and creepy male who abused his position of power. He is not a woman. And he appears to have prioritised his own demands to be recognised as something he can never be over both his patients and any sense of ethics.

He then fled to Australia where women aren't permitted any spaces away from men whatsoever, where presumably he expects to get whatever he wants.

Sadly, as we can see from your post and from what happened to Sandy Peggie, there are very many very stupid usually middle class people who obsessively fawn over trans identiying men such as Dr Upton and will put their demands over and above the material needs of women at all times, usually busily demonising any woman who objects in the process. Truly pathetic, anti equality and fairness and completely outside the world of reality, while basically pandering to the patriarchy, but that's where a lot of very easily led zealous self righteous people are now.

The piece includes the mandatory interview from a massive bloke called Tanya who has set up a one-man band called 'A Just Society'. Not entirely sure what the aims of the society actually are, as the About page is largely a load of rambling waffle.

Like that psychiatrist (who got her arse handed to her on X iirc) who started a crowd funder for 'love and treats' for Upton. The description was a page of utter fawning, about how she and her 'doctor mum' mates would love to work with Upton. Only too happy to shit on the working class nurse.

The trouble is, whether she's malicious or just silly she's in a position of power and will apparently use it to work against women's rights. She may well treat patients and is unlikely to be supportive of requests for same sex care, etc.
